Hi! There's a tool for getting straight lines (don't know really why getting known to different possibilities and tools with sketchfu has to be so complicated..)
So, click mouse left and right quickly after each other, and then click the spot where you want your line to end.. doesn't always succeed (well at least I dont) but give it a try! :)

Yup, I wondered about that too when I started here, so here's the tip. Getting opacity tool to make colors lighter and darker: Use the < and the > keys on your keyboard to make colors change. Press E for a color picker (very handy!) and P for the palette to drop down. :)
