Hi all! been away again...that darn facebook and all its apps...well, anyway thought I would let you all know what I have been up to in my absence.

I have been decorating cakes, ah huh, yep I am a cake decorator, makes a weird kind of sense though doesnt it? I make edible art. Yes I do and I must admit I enjoy it. Hate the baking part though...wish I could get someone to bake for me...and hate the set up, cause so much can go wrong when putting cakes on top of each other. Oh, I usually only do wedding cakes, more money for the work involved. Ah well so there ya have it...my life in a paragraph...take care

My,my how time flies! To those who have been here since the beginning like I was, I wish to say to you all hi and so happy to see you are still here. Glad to see how much everyones' art has evolved and grown with such amazing works! I never intended to stay away for so long, but sometimes life has it's twists and turns and leads us down paths we never dreamed we would take!

I have gone to many sites and have drawn quite a bit all around and I still find the people here are probably the most sincere and have the most class out of anywhere! Kudos to you all and my hat goes off to you all for becoming such a great art community!

I would also like to clear up a few points that perhaps have been misunderstood, primarily about drawing with a mouse! I did start out drawing here with a mouse on a really old computer and an old moniter, but I believe that approximately two years ago or so I did get a tablet. I still have that tablet and it is my God send! My wrist used to kill me and now I could never go back to drawing with a mouse. Although when I draw on sumopaint I sometimes find myself trying to draw with it, because Sumo has so many filters and has layers that i find I use my mouse quite a bit there,and wonder why everything is turning out so crappy, duh! So I then have to pull out the tablet and draw.

I use a wacom intous 3, it is an older model, but works just deliciously, my dream is to one day own the wacom cintiq who knows, one day... The really good thing is I that since I have been away I got a new computer for Christmas last year it is just awesome! It has a really nice 22" screen and wish I had begged a bit more for the 24" lol, but Santa had already spent more on my computer than I imagined he would, so I thought I would not be such a naughty girl. One day though I will have my Mac and a 24+" screen, it could happen!??!!...hugs to all and
