Thanks also for your kind comments. In my reference pic his skin was actually very ashen, almost gray, but I did not like that look, so I made him have the more earthy tones.

Oh, hello and welcome! ^_^ Here are a few tips to use with Sketchfu:

Opacity keys: < and >, opaque to sheer
Eyedropper key: Hover your mouse (or wacom pen) over the correct color and press 'e', it will copy it exactly.
Drop-down Palette key: 'P'
Resize Brush: [ and ], they will resize your brush from large to small.
Press 'Z' for undo and 'Y' for redo. I don't suggest using 'Y', it's has a glitch and can very easily ruin your sketch!

I use a Wacom Intuos3 tablet to make my sketches. :) They are very handy, you may be able to pick on up at CompUSA, but they can be a bit pricey. And that's pretty much it. Have fun! :D

to blend colors you can use the opacity tool :D > (.) for more opaque, and < (,) for less opaque! :D
