"Your basic problem is that the new operating system (Windows Vista instead of XP) understands the hardware a bit differently. You should probably try to configure the tablet to your likings in the control panel under either the Mouse or Game Controllers menu. Have Matt help you with it, or I can give it a shot next time I swing by."
"I don't know. I was just messing around and noticed that when it's watched at max speed, even though you don't see the face for long at all, it burns into your head."
When you made this comment on my drawing:
Very adorable. However, you might want to poke him and make sure that he's still alive - - I didn't see that bear move during the entire draw!
I literally, I mean seriously literally laffed out loud! I did not expect that funny line! Thanks for the kudo and the smile.
thanks SO much for your cheers and nice comment. i have been sick but will be back soon and take a look at your gallery too!! I love Mr. Peanut Man!! Looks like a cute one.
Gerry, you ARE good enough. If I were a little kid I would be magnetically drawn to your stuff. Now since I'm up there I know time and money and energy can be, or become, limited and I would sure love to see you fulfil (sp) your dream. It's also definitely a big advantage that people love working with you. But as you say you can work with a publisher, you can illustrate any book you want, esp. if the author's been gone for 70 years (hey! be respectful of them (just kidding)). (*hugs*)
Haha, oh trust me- I have NO patience. xD
When I'm drawing a picture on teh computer I'm sitting here basically having a clicking fit askign myself why in fact i'm drawin gin dots, and then i have to undo all the spurts of frustration where I scribble all over the drawing. xD
Hello again! Meno here ... Oh, I know what you're thinking: "OMG, my mother is out trolling for friends for me at sketchfu!" Haha! I love your Mom ... she's a great gal ;D
thank you so much for all teh cheers and the thoughtful comments. yes, i've found the comment about the speed to be true, too- after i get the outline done with my drawings, i tend to complete them in dots...for 2 reasons. 1)i'm using a crappy mouse and 2) my old computer is so slow that it doesn't register full lines after being on sketchfu for over 10 minutes, so it forces me to draw in dots.
can't wait to see more of your stuff, and thanks again for the comments ^_^
I recently forgot my password to my original account so I just went and found everything I drew on it and saved each to my current account(this one!) You'll know it's stolen from my original account by a black dot appearing in the bottom right of the image which would otherwise make no sense.
Thanks for the cheers again Ry...
Dad is really depressed.
Would be nice if you could work something out with him.
I don't think I have ever seen him like this.
He loves you so much.
