once it falls its gone for good
replaced with another tear
it shows my past at its worse in times of need and hope
it reminds me of the ones i love and admire
it kills my laugh my hope my dreams
but i can only hope
the tears to soon fall
will leave me standing tall ..

memories,
a vision stuck inside my head
filling me with hopes and dread
as time passes they disappear
leaving me here,
alone
but some do not leave
they haunt me in my dreams
a nightmare taking over
killing my happy thoughts
take them away
and leave me be
so i, myself can be free.

Don't define you world in black and white
Because there is so much hiding amongst the greys.
