Do you love animals? The cute little innocent puppies at the pound, the lovable elders in your local neighborhood; everyone knows a cute animal. Did you know that 6-8 million dogs are killed each month from puppy mills and shelters because their behavior and starving to death? The owners of the mills cannot afford all of the dog food so they just put them down. Do you think this is right? Please, use common sense. What would you do? I personally would put it in a caring adoption place where they feed them, and take care of them so the puppy or dog could have a loving home in no time. Please, please, please do not abuse any pets. Whether it be a dog, cat, horse, chicken, pig, duck, rabbit, even a fish; they still have nerves in which they can feel pain..and they still have feelings. This is my story please copy and paste
If you hate animal abuse
can remember how I was happily playing with my sister amongst the streets. I can remember how happy my mother was, laying outstretched on a blanket we found at the dump. Yes, we were homeless. But it didn’t bother us at all. We had plenty to eat. Everyone was kind, and the fellow cats were friendly. It was truly a great life, although some rich and posh cats passed by once in a while, they didn’t know how free we were, and how trapped they were.
Ok, so maybe life wasn’t ALWAYS great for us, the homeless, there were these big green monsters that passed by on four circular black things. They dumped out food, in black bags, my mummy calls them bags because that’s what she heard from others.
She says she once lived with a person who looked after her very well. And she can remember all sorts of things that her owner named, for example the big black things that have goodies in them were called trash bags, soft fluffy stuff was called wool, and long fun stuff was called string.
Unfortunately, she says she ran away…because the owner was being mean. She was constantly kicking my mummy, starving her and not taking care.
My daddy is a posh cat. Well, I don’t know where he lives now. He mysteriously disappeared. My mummy says she had a hard time taking care of us. She says that I was the most troublesome one. She managed though, to take care of us all.
But daddy didn’t come back.
I found a lovely ball of string. It was my favourite toy. I always had it with me. I was the youngest kitten in my family, so it seemed fine for me to take it everywhere I go, even when we went to search for food in between the smelly stuff that the black bags have.
The food isn’t that nice, but we are always grateful when we can get our paws on it. Of course other cats want it too, so sometimes we have to fight a little. We got used to it. It was sometimes fun.
One day, a big black monster came to us. There was a woman that picked us up, and put us inside a box with many long bars. I saw many other cats, and they were so thin, you could see their bones. Most of them were sleeping. I was separated away from my 2 sisters and mum, they were in the boxes with bars next to me. The monster was vibrating and I was scared.
Eventually, the vibrating stopped and so did the monster. I heard a slam and there was silence. The things in front of us- mommy described them as ‘doors’-opened up and the same woman took us out. We saw many rooms and many other cats. We were then put into the boxes again. Next to each other. Mummy told us these were called cages. She heard that word from a woman that said it as she was walking by.
So we were being treated well, and getting food we’ve never tasted before, and it was heavenly. Whenever the woman came to us, the bag from which the food came from wasn’t black, I was orange. It had a cat on it, and some paw prints and strange symbols-my mummy said they were ‘letters’. The food inside wasn’t smelly, it was in shapes, of colours, and it crunched between my teeth and I loved it.
One day, a different woman came, I watched closely as she took out a cat. I waited some time, but the cat didn’t return, instead, the cage was put away. A few days passed, this was last week. My oldest sister was taken away too. I was crying inside because she didn’t return. Then, the woman came again, and she took my other sister. And my mum. She murmured something like ‘testing’. I never saw them again either. I was very upset. And I didn’t want to eat. And I was lonely and I just sat in the corner of the cage and watched my fluffy ball of string, not bothering to touch it. Then I cheered up and played.
I was much older now, and the same woman came and she picked me up roughly. She took me away to where? I couldn’t see. And I didn’t return…and I didn’t see my fluffy ball of string ever again….but before I went away, I saw other cats have horrible stuff put on them…and then they were stuffed in sacks-lifeless….this happened to me. They put the stuff on me too….it burned. I could feel as if my skin under my fur was ripping and seeping into me. My fur became horrible and sticky until it started to fall. It was horrible. I couldn’t do anything. They were so rough with me…and soon…I was gone, like the others.

So please, find another way. Test it on animals that have no hope of living ,who are ill and ONLY if there’s no cure, but make sure they don’t feel the pain…and put them to sleep, not by torturing them, but by doing it with the vets help.
