Use an oval with lines first circling the oval to give you a gride for drawinf the features, take the feature you love the best and really work this, eyes or nose or mouth, the expressiveness of what you do best will define the drawing. I do a lot of faces with a black background to offset the features... I still work to get at the effect I want, try it you will do well I am sure!

Thanks for the high compliments! Keep in mind that I am not an art teacher, I'm a substitue teacher, and relearning to draw myself. There are many artists here who have a lot more experience and natural talent that could help you more than I can. Many of them are art teachers.

If you still want my opinions, I'll be glad to give them once I can sit down and take a peek at your gallery once I have more time to sit. Just taking a cooking break right now.
