yes thats exactly it :) i've always found it difficult to get the face in proportion (e.g. eyes too far apart) and the markers really help. haha i get obsessed too, always learning and thinking of ways to improve :) good luck with it!

Thanks mrsketchy! ah yes the lines, i just started that recently :) i had a reference pic that was about the same size as the sketchfu canvas, so I placed it side by side with the canvas, that way i will know how far down the chin, eyes, nose and mouth should be, by drawing in the lines. The part i measured with a ruler was the width of the face. i then did sketched the whole thing making sure i dont cross the lines with each part :D

xDDDD thanks a bunch mrsketchy! i guess learning to use a touchpad would be the same as learning how to use a pencil xD with more practice the drawings come out better :D and my handwriting is somewhat legible now muahahaha besides ive seen ur drawings =_= u can draw something that has the same quality with less than half the time it took me xD
