I reach out hungrily to the cake. It has fiery orange icing, tipped with pale yellow. I know inside will be rich sugary syrup. The Capitol seal is embellished on the top, in fancy black colouring.
Yet I know that if I go any further, within a meter of the delicacy, then I will be electrocuted. If then I miraculously survive and eat the cake, I will die before I can swallow it. Poison dart frogs are very beneficial to Panem.
“Stop Katniss!” cries Peeta, “You could get electrocuted!”
I nod but my stomach growls in protest. We haven’t eaten for three days. The game makers provide us with an unappetizing green mush that stops us dehydrating.
I shuffle a tiny bit closer. I can smell it now; a gorgeous syrupy fragrance. But I know, and so do Peeta, and the other twenty two tributes, that we will be killed if we succumb to the food.

ummm ok I said a few when I only ahve one lol - I got skulduggery pleasant (the orange one) free when my library was gettign rid of loads of books. Its in a pile of books now XD I'm going to attempt the drawing now :) Then you can do your part :p
