I...beg you pardon..? No, I did not. The ball-sticks method of drawing a face is mainstream for any unsure artist. I learned it after several years browsing Elfwood. You can check my older drawings, all of them are started with a ball and either one or two sticks to graph the facial features.

Well, his head is only slightly odd. It seems to go in a bit too far around the cheek area. And yes, I know I talk like an old man. Sad, really, that a twelve year old girl talks like an old man. *sniffle* But anyways, if you need more drawing space, hold down the Ctrl key and use the mouse roller(if you have one) to zoom in on the screen. Gives you more room. =D

i dont exactly know what my manga is gonna be about but ive go a few character ideas, some ideas of the story but i dont want it to seem like im copying other manga and anime character or storys. i need to have a different kind of inspiration instead of other anime or manga or drawings other people make. im creative but i dont know how to use it all of the time.. i know theres going to be real life,phenominon( demons, time travelers,ninja, ghosts ),action,suspence,and mystery. A few of my characters are Mitsaki Kanade, Kairo, yuri dekoma, yuki, kakashou ,raina katara, and bulla keaton. Kairo,yuki,and kakashou are from a demonsion that was named the demonic that was made in the past.Mitsaki kanade is a girl from the past 100 years after the demonic was created she can travel through time and has a cool sword that can change into other things usually wepons.

Wow, four digits, huh? O_O That's a lot of drawing, I don't think I have that much in my entire archive...but then, you have to subtract the WIPs. I'm trying to make it to 100 complete drawings before I celebrate. :) The tutorial is good, it's always helpful to take a gander at many tutorials, compare them and choose which method you like best.

mm maybe you did not realize but I had friends over at this time and they also thought that you came off as being rude.. I do take others comments its just maybe I was not sure what you were trying to say to me because of your wording. This is why i said I did not know if that was what you tried to portray but that is what we here took it as. I am not trying to be mean or yell at you its just they way you said it made your comment sound a little arrogant. I know how it is not being excepted my family as well does not think highly of me becoming manga-ka. They think I should go in to something that makes more money. Ok lets make something a little on the clear part... I only started drawing manga in high school I have not had the money to buy any books on drawing or anything until just recently. I had borrowed a few every now and then from friends but other than that I had only thought myself.
also sketch foo is not the greatest of mediums for me nor do i try and spend a lot of time drawing on this site.. Some of the pictures may say an hour but thats not the time spend on them considering i am usually multi tasking since i have a life and people i have to deal with. You should try watching what you say to people because were I come from some of the things you said come off as rude. I don't mind to much of constructive criticism but I don't need other information other than what I need to work on.. I dont need the information on your age/nationality/ or religion. Also it is hard to go by what people say around me because everyone around me does not draw as I do and all think my stuff is REALLY good.. so were you might be in a situation were you might be surrounded in artwork that is a lot like anime I am not at all I have very little comic books (about 3book and 4 weekly) and very little anime (3 dvds(of newer anime)(a bout 4 vhs of old anime) I try to study them as much as I can.. anyway I am going to school here a collage and this is why I attend for my art degree .. because i know I need some coaching. I am sorry if i am comming off as mean or angery but I try very hard to get progress in my artwork and i dont need anyone to try and bring me down. Its true i had some set backs in my life but i am trying to move on and continue unlike you (i am guessing) my life had been put on hold for a bit because of circumstances i had a hard time dealing with... but i pick up the pieces and move on.. and what do i get but rudeness in my face..
