Thanks so much SG. Calm down, I am over that butthead art teacher now. The demon has been slain and this SG is comfortable doing what I do. I am comfortable with my abilities and when the inspiration takes me, I shall draw. My next one is going to be at FG as part of a promise I made to somebody, all I will be waiting for then is for that somebody to fulfill their side of the bargain ;-)
I know you are very busy right now but it would be great to see something there.

Hello SG, Chicken here. If it looks good as a thumbnail then why shatter the illusion? There it will stay. I did not know that the deleted pics still left a thumbnail, grrrr.... All I was doing was staring at mt tea mug which has a Van Gogh style sunflower design. I just decided to doodle it in Fu. No idea how the tools work. All I get is bold colours when I really want something softer or more opaque. Well I do have people that I can ask and maybe, just MAYBE I will complete the draw and publish. Until then, BWARK BWARK!

Hey thanks for the info!!! I saw a video on the new wacom on their website. My son told me about it and made me watch the video. Yes, the future of art is finally here!!!! An artist can now hold the pad just like a real sketchbook and make digital art. Very exciting. It is outrageously expensive tho, like $2500 or $1400 (i forgot) American dollars. Oh well, maybe the price will drop. I will look into the teacher discount. I get one at the bookstores here. I love the primary age group. Very cute and like lil sponges!!

hmmmmmmmmmm............ you might be brilliant!! I don't teach for a regular school system altho I do run a 5 day a week all day Summer Art Camp out of a local community center, I get about 200 kids thru my doors in the 9 weeks i teach. I teach adults drawing ...I will ck on the wacom site and see. Was your discount thru a store or the Wacom site? I will get a bigger pad, I'll just wait til I can afford one. I wonder if your being in OZ made a diff tho, I am in US. But great idea. Are you an art teacher too? What grades? My camp is 3rd-6th...ages 8-11.

Hello, my friend! I did have a bit on the Graffiti draw but it was so slow loading yesterday that I got frustrated and deleted it! It was stupid, anyway ... a FU leaning over with his drawers dropped, mooning everyone (or, FUUing, if you will) ... something an adolescent graffiti punk would find amusing ;D

Yes FG is an awesome place to be, 2draw sucks, can't stand how some people are so cruel on there. FG is where I drew the frog, was my first attempt on there, now I'm working on my African Grey, Scooby. I can't leave this place though, everyone is truly awesome here!

Hi kingmingus!! i noticed a comment that you left on gmx911's pic of the sad puppy. gmx911 is my daughter. as you see on the pic at the bottom it says rest in peace lisa kalapach.4/12/08 ............ god this is just gutwrecnhing. she drew that for her friend that passed away. lisa, god rest her soul, was only 21 and going through a rough time in her life but was determined to make it better. she has a 9 month old son that is just precious and now is without a mommie and naturally the dad is god knows where. she and her baby spent alot of time here at my house with my daughter and i and we are just DEVISTATED. she was staying at the local womens center with her baby and they found her in her room. from what we understand it was an accidental overdose and she passed away in her sleep. we will be going to services today or tomorrow for her and i am sick on my stomach just thinking about it. what a tragedy for a young life to be lost and a baby left behind. god, i should stop now, has been a rough few days and the next few are going to be just as bad if not worse. i just felt i had to give you an explanation of that pic my daughter drew. so so sad....however, thank you for your kind words. ;D hugs ....lisamm

WOW! Go you with your comment on Torchies drawing. I read what some people write in 2draw and think that it's not a place for most decent people to be. Sure there are some great artists there but they do not encourage the learning artists at all. I love this site. Its friendly and its a place where we can all have a laugh. How else would crazy Georgie manage to post anything? Hehe. LONG LIVE THE FU.

Both my parents are teachers actually ^^ No suprise there I guess. And there's not way for the teachers to spoil my computer games anymore since I stopped playing a while back. Nowadays I'm just focusing on friends/art/music and school :)

Your daughter sounds just like my parents, and I suppose she may have gotten that side from you? =)
Anyway, you know that I'm glad that you like my drawings, and don't worry, I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Don't know if I'm ever going to get serious with the drawing though, but we'll see ^^

Hey, what do you expect of me? You thought that I got the idea from a book? XD Hah, a bit laughable when you think about it, since I'm almost 16, and most people my age don't read quite alot of books ^^

So actually, the idea is from a computer-game (duh >.<), but I do have to admit that still.. though, I could have come from a book, at the moment I'm reading 3 books xD I'm in the middle of 'em all O.o

The thought itself was funny though, since most teenagers gets fed up with the books from school and tend to avoid them on their free time :P

I am glad you are staying. I am not good enough either. Gerry told ne they want realism and she just does not want to work that hard. This is relaxation for her. Have not heard a peep from Christine since Meno made her get-away. We will just hang in I guess. Hugs

i dont draw anywhere else....i have an extremely busy shedule Monday to Friday so i dont get much time to draw. i have though been slowly adding some stuff to my underwater scene. Not going anywhere....not god enough for those other sites...way too professional and serious for me

Thanks for asking and here is the flimsy explanation of the last drawing. Ahem...ol, just doodling. Out of doodling I found the little girl in upper left corner. I tried to draw her again in the middle there but she came out a little older. Not sure how much older but lets say she was three, so add 8, now she's 11.

I set myself a challenge on purpose thats the only way i can improve, the lag does my nut in but i dont like giving in when ive already put alot of effert in , its like making sweet love you have to get the job done, and if it takes you all day then so be it lol jokes :P

i think it's a she...it's kinda cream colored mostly..has a tid bit of pale blue but i don't think it's enough to make it male..and i've read that the females are the bitey ones!! but we have a cute relationship anyway...she whistles at me when i whistle at her and she comes to the edge of the cage real fast when i come and whistle to her...it's ok that she don't talk...she's cool and beautiful anyway!!!
