The weather here is quite hot and I have been spending my days outside doing chores and getting myself wet as often as possible. I have been also doing some woodworking and bike riding. Haven't done much on Sketchfu or other websites lately......too hot!

Ciao Isabel ;-) You travel so much but you have never been to my country? Yes, of course I believe it is beautiful. But I haven't seen the whole country either. It is the second largest country in the world, but has alot of vast uninhabited areas. I have seen a few of our provinces which are all so different, but still very lovely with seasons and nature. I am in Ontario which is quite central. We have a lakefront family cottage up north in the country. I live in the city and love both worlds. I like to say I'm a city girl with country ways ;-) I would miss the busy city life of theatre, coffeehouses, shows, restaurants, etc. if I were to live in the country; but I really enjoy it when I do go up and can sit on the deck, absorb the quietness and beauty of nature. There I can have an early morning espresso with the cranes, otters, beavers, squirrels and what else, of course...Canada geese! Perhaps one day your travels will bring you over to us. Fuzzy, Meno and I stay in touch that way, as well as here and now on Floating Ginkgo. I drew there the first time this past Sunday.All our old friends are so sweet to me. Putting up with my so called art. :) I love sketchfu and as you see, I prefer drawing here.
Still I like FG and the tools are a lot different. The more I draw there the more I like it. I just hated that I could not draw. So I went for it. It was pretty sad at first. The last two draws were better. Come over and try it. I was signed up for three months, before I drew. LOL I did view and comment our friends there. They were delighted to see me.

I wish I did read Italian as Italy is such a wonderful country and I long to go back. Venice was my favorite city in all of Europe (well out of the 11 countries I have visited. And the Blue Grotto on Capri my most amazing experience. I will never forget that. The food is incredible everywhere. we ate at many trattorias and had gourmet meals for so little money with friendly gracious service. The art is beyond wonderful. Guess i need to go back soon!! Well you are multi talented dear Isabella with your art and your writing. Happy you are also so friendly to all of us here. *hugs*

Isabel, I also come from a large family (3 sisters & 3 brothers) our parents are gone now but are always here in our hearts. We get together for all the holidays too. Big families are wonderful, I'm glad you enjoy your family too! It's great when all the cousins are together! Thanks for your littel personal notes, I appreciate them. It's fun to learn a bit about the friends you meet here at FU. And so nice that this site can bring people from so many miles away closer! Stay well, be happy & keep drawing!
