Good Morning Mr.Mcflubiam, well, afternoon to you. Saw your comment on my profile. I like it here too, actually, & I only draw at YD, on & off. I feel bad about the lag, so many experience - I get it every so often, but I mentioned to Torchie what works for me, is to have NO other programmes running at the same time (ie. msgr, email, etc. - nothing) and before I begin a draw I clean out my temp files, cache & sometimes do an ad-aware scan. Then I'm ready to go. If my comp has been running for a bit, I reboot & it's like a clean canvas. The one thing I've found, is when I'm ready to send a draw it will "wait" for sometime. I have to find patience then, and wait too. I do take a print screen just in case. Once I see the send 'bar' begin, then I know it should arrive safely. But, unlike you & so many other fantastic artists here, I don't have the artistic abilities to create the wonderful drawings you guys do, so this is almost enough for me (at the moment anyhow) In time, I may venture to see what Gingko is about, but not fussy on the other site. Never drew there, when so many talked about it on YD years ago. But if you venture elsewhere, do let me know so I can view your work there too...all joking aside, you must know I've always admired your work! ;-) smws gave a link to d/l a programme to eliminate the flash commercial problem & I did that on my work computer, which allows me to cheer & comment without the draw reloading numerous times, but I haven't done so at home in case it messes me up there. Older computer at home! So, W.W. that's my story, thanks for asking. Your patience, perseverance & moreso, your talent is very remarkable! Big decisions, eh? Life's like that, haha ;-D TTY-L8*ter

Hey man, I know how it feels like to loose a drawing you gave your time and effort, it sucks, I know but it happens. a thing you can do is to take a screen print before you click publish, well at least you can put it in your display image. but I adore that you redone it man, that proves your strong will and the patience (well the second is clear in the rest of your drawings).

Sorry to hear you lost your latest work. After viewing your diamond and your typewriter I feel that you should get the award for the most painstakingly meticulous work. I no way have that kind of patience. I can't even figure out how to do that straight line thing without eighty-sixing my work into oblivion.

flubs flubs *L* I always supported your art work!! From day 1 at Youdraw. There was only a teeny tiny lil period there w3hen you were copying everyones work, verbatim without asking anyones permission and it was getting upsetting to many and I agreed with them. I felt that it was flattering to have you WANT to copy somebodies work, cuz you have a VERY good eye and I understood that you just wanted to learn which was VERY admirable of you. But I really felt out of repsect to the artist you should have asked permission first, everyone would have been flattered, trust me, we have all been in awe of your tremendous talent since the beginning. And no, I am not being nice, that is my professional opinion. When I finally saw, here, how old you were, I almost fainted!!! Your skill level is SO high!

anyhow, that was the only thing and that was like 3 or 4 yrs ago or something and once you started asking permission no one was upset any more. I would not call call you Flubbs if I didn't afore you *G*

My insane neighbors are having their tree whacked for a mere $2,000 ... no doubt the tree rapists are planning on selling the wood and will make a tidy profit on that, too. I smoked all my life. I would rather see you get off of the cigs first then the weed because ppl smoke less of that meaning less smoke in your lungs *L* About 10 yrs ago i cut down to 4-5 a day. Then 2 yrs ago this month I quit completely. I got sick for 3 weeks could not smoke even tho i tried. Then at the end i thought..hmmm...i made it 3wks without trying lets try for one week and see how it goes...then it was a month and I thought...hmmmmmmm...i would be a real dumbass to start again when i have made it a month. So I found a kind of chocolate that I liked a lot and bought tons of it and there ya go. I have only gained..uh...er...10 lbs? *L* But I'll lose that eventually, I never change size. So..keep trying to cut down!!

I watched more of your drawings here and I got to tell you do a great job and really master these sketchfu tools. Do you also use "real" media, i mean acrylics, oil, pastel, pencils... (I guess you do.) Have you got a deviantart account or flickr or whatever ?

Hi Flubs! Not old age... I am certain of that... more my lack of talent..., I drew a lot of horses, actually my first work in years and first attempts at digital art. I was really terrible, just getting started. Through the friendship and encouragement of quite a few of the artists there... I have been able to improve a little. I work in real mediums at home... mostly equine art. You are a very talented young man. Please know that my comments and cheers are sincere and I am appreciative for the opportunity to learn from others! Keep that amazing art coming!

I was thinking it would be cool job to do custom painting like they do on biker build off, i can turn my hand at most thing's i'd even like to design the motor bikes lol I deleted donald completely i logged off, i might do it another day if i get the will to draw again, todays been a nightmare..first of all my draw got deleted earlier, and now ive started drawing a sky reflecting on to water and its quite tricky to do because i chose a pretty detailed sky and its not easy to create sky's with out a paint brush lol anyway im off bed for a few hour's its 7.20 am :P

flubbles, around here all summer there are nothing but car shows, and to see a car like the one I did is so common, there are some real beauties. I always wanted to do custom paint, never had the oportunity to learn airbrush though. (got a tablet instead, lol it's my next purchase) The other thing that really has me interested in is custom helmets for dirtbike/motocross, I have seen some really sic helmets and I think I'd be good at it. btw, if you deleted you can still publish donald when he is finshed it would be funny!

I think your getting to in to it starshine, i was only gonna change the face and make the feather's a tinge of ginger lol Im regretting deleting it now i could have finished it today!

lol, donald with the half a head comb over! it would be hilarious! but it has to be windy where the helmet comb over is just half up and half down! and hardly any feathers left on his wings, just floating feathers everywhere, oh yes I can picture it! too funny.

It is not a case that *I* still have it, I have ALWAYS had it, I simply don't enjoy it! Photorealism, while it garners votes is not as much fun for me as bears and patterns. I draw to relax. :)
I however am trying to put together an online portfolio so figure realism is more "impressive" so I guess I will be taking that rack for a whilenow even tho it might kill me! I spend 6 hours a week every week critiquing others hyper realism and to be frank, after 18 yrs of that, am a bit tired of "looking and comparing". *L* i just wanna DRAW...and have fun!

I started a draw but set myself to much of a task, i cant draw anything until i get my new leather computer chair my backs killing from when i did a fosbury flop over backwards the other day and broke my old computer chair...so im chilling out watching tv with a beer or a southern comfort and lemonade, or both as the case may be lol good look with your draw's i'll take a look later :P
