=> Thank you, I am flattered for the compliment, but I'm not able to add on any more friends. I have a very difficult time keeping up with everyone as it is. I appreciate all of your support immensely, but I cannot acquiesce friends requests at this time.

=> Of course, I appreciate the sentiment. I don't see why not!

€ Do you take requests?
=> No. I'm not at the level where I can adhere to limitations or expectations. My better art comes from inspiration and I often search long and hard for it. I cannot will myself to draw something spontaneously and well. You may make suggestions, but I do not guarantee that I will use them.

€ You're awesome. Or do you just use a tablet?
=> Yes, I use a tablet. But a tablet is not the be all end all. It is a useful tool, but it is a complicated tool. A tablet is different from pen/pencil on paper. It introduces a new texture, different constraints to physical space, different feeling overall. It's optimal to a mouse, but don't be fooled into thinking that it's a simple tool to use. If one does not practise art and does not draw much, a tablet is a lost cause.

€ How long did it take?
=> My portraits take on average upwards of 2 hours. I've made quick ones in under one, but the quality has suffered.

€ Did you learn art?
=> I consider myself self-taught. 95% of what I learned has been outside the walls of formal institutions. But do your homework, kids. It helps. ;)

This is just a suggestion, but you don't have to do it. An art teacher I used to have said that a good art practice/technique is to draw natural curly hair. She also said that natural culry hair isn't always filled with perfect corkscrews/ringlets, but look like the letter S on a loop. She then drew a picture of my hair as an example. You should try it. It's really fun, but challenging at times.
