I putzed and putzed with the pen stuff on "My Computer" and it is pretty good now but kinda schitzo at times. I think I just have to get used to it. I had trouble when I first got the tablet cause it seemed so hard to control. The one I think that made it pretty good for me is the one that said how firm or soft to press....I when to the firmest setting. But now, it is wierd when I want to do gentle touching. I think it is the most schitzie when sketching with just lines, which I know much of your work is just that....good luck with it. If you want me to figure out exactly what I did let me know....I am just recalling what I think helped....but I am an old person and my memory is not so great....LOL
well thank you back...I am an old fart tho and learned to draw a thousand years ago. Then I strayed away from it after college and am just now rediscovering the art through technology. I have liked the computer for several years now(didn't when they first came out in the personal type) and have only started doing this about a year ago over on bebo. Started without a table, totally with a mouse and got fairly proficiant with that. In my gallery, Buster Keaton was the first one that I did after I got my tablet. Keep at it, you deffinately have talent.
Thanks for the compliment, drobert..it's my first one, and coming from you, i'm honored!, since I consider you one of my favorites here. Hope the comp problems straighten out and you can draw more. I have just the opposite..a very old one that runs so slowly. see you. :)
Dro, thanks for all the cheering! sorry it took so long to say my proper thank you but I had to stope by and let you know that I appreciate the time you take to peek at my art! :D
