It's hard to be strong when your world is falling apart. You want to stay and put it back together. Only everyone's gone, and everyone you care about is either too young, or no longer "there" anymore, stressed in their own bubbles, or moved on, beyond comforting a confused fourteen year old girl, gazing at the shattered world she's standing in and just needing someone to tell her that it'll be okay. That the world hasn't ended yet. That some remnant of the world she knew is still there. That it's possible to be happy again.

But no one will.
