"Somewhere I read/heard that we are all made of star dust...so i Googled after seeing this. It's a bit interesting to read and you might enjoy it. :) This is a lovely, peaceful drawing..and yes, I agree, a difficult angle. xo"

I did some searching and found that Coffee house BK was talking about. Didn't find the photo album with any wedding in it though.
I get the Idea BK is Martin the guy behind the counter. He also is in a photo sitting with Jennefer. That Gudalupe Coffe House seems to be a Popular site on Mysp search.
Guess what's being said on YouDraw---------***********----------

Hi Suntan. Thanks much for the cheers & comments. Always very much appreciated. I used to envy teachers having the summers off, but now I don't because I've come to realize it actually spoils you too much - haha. It's tough to get back into the grind, I'm sure. I just do the short summer vaycays & cottage trips so I can adjust to the return of the work world. hehe...ok fine, sounds good, though, eh? ;-P Convincing? nah...I'm still jealous! Anyhow, my summer has seen lots of unexpected happenings. Some I enjoyed, others I could have done without. Seems lately there has been a few bouts of physical illnesses with family members. Some explained, some unexplained. Makes you wake up and wonder! I also lost my grandmother last week. She was in her 102nd year (!!!) and until she fell and broke her hip a week ago, was doing rather well walking, unaided. She tripped over her chair's footrest...can you imagine? At her age, she was a beautiful, loved person by many and always wanted to give back to society, in any capacity. Hospital workers delivered balls of wool to her regularly so she could knit and crochet hats and booties for the premmies at the hospital. Amazing woman - seen, done & contributed so much in her lifetime! She will be missed so much, by so many. These special memories and happenings are what LIFE is all about! Smile and enjoy yours! Yes, even those longggg summer days, cough cough! ;-D Ciao for now, L8*
So on to the other subject. I'm still here just an hour late for the meeting.
Doing perfectly fine since you asked. Of course before you asked I was doing a little less commenting. But now I feel whole with the fans again and can start to relax think about doing the Job thing in about ten hours from now. By the way it has become the 123rd day till Christmas. In Beijing it's even less then that.
Got to go here's your funny.
Sun's nearly here be a chase to bed to beat old Helios to sleep.
Hey Sunny :) I just sent a note to Andrew asking him if FU was about to crash .. no answer yet. But I thought he should be alerted, anyway ... I hate this, too! :P
So nice to at least hear someone is having better Temps.
The weather people here are planing to bring our temps up.
For about the next two weeks anyway. Weather folks here just don't know when to quit. This year we must have a lot of new green horns on the Job.
We have had far too many weeks with the main temp being below 115.
Once the newbies get a handle on it,they will be told not to give us small breaks from the heat like that during July and August. The rule is to bring it up to a simmer by Mid May. Then just keep it under a rolling boil until October. Never allow for a week of mere temps of 100.
Oh well, I'm sure we can expect the learning curve to change in the next few summers to come.
Awwwww Suntan (BTW what is your real name?) I know exactly what you mean. Summer is the season I love. Dillon goes to school tomorrow...I miss him soooo when he leaves. I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol- I have a Youtube account- mallchris... my problem is I can never remember song names! If Im on a quiz team at a pub i can answer most things- ecept music and sport!
Heh heh! I know what you mean ... it takes forever to load my profile page 'cos of all the "chums" ... I guess I should delete some of 'em 'cos they've just disappeared; at lest, I never hear from them. Sketchfu sure is like a ghost town these days ... and where the hell is our dear Bear, GERRY? My last four emails to her have gone unanswered ... golly, I hope she's ok.
Hi, Suntan!I hope you have been spending a good holiday! Thanks for the cheers and comment. What happened to your last drawings? Why have you deleted them. They seemed to be good.
Thank you my friend. the hand symbol in moroccan's beleiving have an Ability to protect them from "eye stroke". i.e:when someone is surprised by "seeing" you when you are having a special time or when someone is just envious of you. our prophet said that we mustn't show our wealth to the others because that will bring us the "eye stroke".so i think that "eye stroke" exists but the eye in the hand symbol is a superstition (bullshit):D I'm not sure of my English so i hope you understand this .thank you sun.
Cheers for the cheers, Suntan! Nice to see you around and that you're not getting "too much" sun, these days! Will be going to the cottage for our upcoming long weekend. I'm hoping the weather will be sane and help keep me that way too ;-P TTYL8*ter!
Thanks for checking out my latest. You are very observant..it is, in fact, inspired by Knack. He commented on one of my doodles and asked me to look at his work that was similar...I was quite impressed because I love these kinds so much. After looking at a few of his, I was inspired to do something a tad different than I usually do, but yet still be mine.
Thanks for your comment on my drawing. It is a little hard to get attention here until one gets a number of friends. Can't wait to look through more of your work as well. cheers, Seth
YW...I was just checking msgs and it showed up. Timing is everything. The sight is definetly going through some horrible "convulsions" I think a break down is not far off. I drew on FG two days ago. I will be doing more. Too mush time and frustration on SF for me. I am modifing my computer use, due to family needs. Something has to go. I will check back on SF and draw sometimes. Just not like before. The same with my bebo. Time permits. If you would like to be on my email list my address is...babsella@msn.com. Send me a hello this is Suntan and I will send you forwards and be able to keep in touch that way. L2U and Hugs Babs
ciao suntan I cannot understand your question, it's because of my english, my "why" was because I understood u want to leave sketchfu...WOW A BIG BIG MISUNDERSTANDING, love and hugs:-D if u use msn add me as rebeccarossini@hotmail.it
Hi Suntan! Thanks for your cues to improve the quality of my draws.I'm going to try and do what you told me to, but I'm not sure if it works out. The European PC keyboards may be different from yours in the States. Anyway, thank you very much for your help, patience and generosity!
You said "Get the heat" You mean your a Miami Fan? Kind of thought you would have gone with the Knicks. Florida never thought it really got hot there Balmy sure enough, but heat ? never see the temps advertised for Florida ever getting into the tripple digits. Come over here do the dunes in Yuma. Go to Lake Havasu feel that freshly over heated desert Air as it warms your morning camp fire ! If you can't make here this year remember to plan your next trip during June. The 25Th would be perfect your sure to get the full effect of over night lows of nothing less then 90 something. Waking early just before the Glorious Sun rise Dawn. Waiting to see that instant jump of the mercury meter. knowing that Christmas is halfway here on that day. P.S. Today Christmas is only 162 days away it's 2:47 AM less then 2 hours to sun rise and the outside temp is resting just under 90 degress.
Hi ya Suntan! Stopping by to thank you for stopping by and leaving cheers and comments along the way. Much appreciated. Yes, summer is here and moving along at great speeds. Mine is measured in km's and busy-ness! *Sigh* It's a crazy one, thus far, but we have had great weather and enough rains to avoid drought and awful looking gardens. Everything looks fantastic this year for the middle of July! Hope your summer is going the way you want it to. Plenty of R&R! TTYL8-ter!
Temps have dropped a bit humidity climbed to 50%
Spent the Fourth at work but did watch three fire work shows.
All from the Alumni Lounge on the second floor. Had a fantastic view of Phoenix and Glendale. At One point could see all three shows at the same time. Already just can't wait for next summer and some more high Heat warnings Yeah !
Hi- thanks for the comment about Tig! lol- I started growling at him last night ( I do a fair cat impression since Ihave owned cats for years) amazingly it worked, he looked up at me listened for a bit looked worried and stopped, finally he just curled up and went to sleep.... he is getting a lot calmer, I keep purring at him too so he knows hes safe...
Hellooo again, Sun! Thanks, yes, very strange tho, one aunt was always a bit depressed and the other, 99, always brimful of v&v, and an awe-inspiring love - even greediness - for life, which love never deserted her, even at the end.
I'd LOVE to see your work on paper. Or canvas. It has to be healthier to move the whole arm and be in contact with sand, charcoal, brush & ink, pencils, eye-shadow pots, whatever. Maybe not as much social support tho. Just don't eat while you paint - it could be toxic!
Ferdi has some beautiful paintings I saw, of horses...
I keep wanting to sketch the people in the jury boxes at the courthouse but another part of me (the smart part!) says to avoid the courthouse whenever possible!:-) Does your family live near you? xox
GM Sun! Thanks for asking -- I'm okay & hope to be back soon. May just use paper for a while though... I've had an achy back and smarting eyes lately, along with computer trouble. Last week two aunts (both in their 90') "passed on" within 24 hours of one another and circumstances were such that I had to help my parents down in Laguna through that... Aren't I full of good cheer though? Miss you - how are you?
Hey Suntan, Yes early morning, is a great time. I can feel the quite of sitting here with a cuppa. The birds singing, and all nature just waking up. This draw has awakened some longings in sketchfuers. We all want those quiet moments with beautul nature around us. Hugs TY for your support.
just for some sunfun info from Diana Cooper: "When you consider an item, like a car for instance, that you consider you OWN IT, or that you are the GUARDIAN of it, it will reflect you, look at the part of the car, relate it to your self and you will see exactly a reflection of your own system" ----- probably the most amazing book to have arrived in these changing times, The LAW of FLOW is also a fab lesson, observe an object of matter, move it and, of course, air will fill the original space, the same pertains to anything that leaves your mind, phsyche, reality, life, in fact everything, other STUFF will come into the space, well, now this beckons the LAW OF DISCERNMENT, cuz yeh can invite back in the same old same, or DIFFERENT, or what you are really looking for.......have fun sunny x
How are your feet or hands hun, or your general energy cuz i think your car is reflecting yah ;) (read "A little Light on the Spiritual Laws - Diana Cooper - A must read for the growing souls for sure xx)
