About Rynnakat
Hey there, I had forgotten my password last year and wrote Matt and Andrew about once a month but they never did anything. I finally requested some pass from another site and it came up and I was like hmmmm.... and it worked. Totally different from any other pass I ever had. Weird. I missed everyone! I'm still crazy busy which I hate, but trying to draw when I can!!
Hints on drawing:
1. Always sign your work.
2. Don't draw on lined paper.
3. Refrain from giving yourself negative commentary like "this isn't good" etc. Your art is fine! Always believe in yourself!
4. Draw alot. Carry a pad and pencil in your book bag so you don't defile your homework.
I love anime, mermaids, rain, blue, iguanas, cats, fantasy novels, captain crunch, and mechanical bulls. I like eating sushi, playing D&D, fixing computers, playing Heavenly Sword on PS3, and riding mechanical bulls. Do you see a pattern here?
Check me out at www.rynnakat.com - I draw in pencil and then scan and paint in Paint Shop Pro 7. I sell art on ebay and make money to buy lots of Final Fantasy 7 toys.
I'm married to a tall dark and handsome opera singer. We met while working at the movies. I was the popcorn girl, and he's the projectionist. We wore tuxedo shirts and bowties in those days, so he didn't stand a chance! *Swoon* So you girls, if you like a guy, just go talk to him. It totally works. Cut out this "admiring from afar" business - that doesn't work.
Drunken camping is one of my hobbies. We go every July with about 20 people. The river is freezing cold but we swim in it anyways and we have a 6 foot hamster ball that we ride down a hill in, and ker-splash!
My hubby got me a 11x17 Wacom tablet, but at work I use a mouse only to draw.
Naruto is one of my favorite shows. I watch the episodes in japanese and can speak a bit of japanese but I sound like a cartoon. Dattebayo! I'd love to learn japanese more, so sometimes I listen to audio files and practice. Kakashi kawaii desu! Anata wa mermaid desu ka? Sugoi!
I also like Transformers, Full Metal Alchemist, Robotech, anything by Miyasaki but my favorite is Spirited Away. I own Galaxy Express 999 (80's anime), Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell, La Blue Girl, Escaflowne, A Wind Named Amnesia, The Ghibli boxed set, Princess Mononoke, Vampire Hunter D, Vampire Princess Miyu, All of FMA and the movie. I've seen most of Naruto and I like Blood Plus alot.
Just started checking out Tsubasa Chronicle and Full Metal Panic.
I have a small clan of cats named Samwise, Maximus, Logan, Dizzy and mom's cat Keechee.

Good luck with everything, and hope to see you here some time again.
Also, you cosplay as Ed? That's so not fair! XD I don't look like any sort of anime character, I never did let myself get away with it. *chuckle* The fact that I'm so picky with details, that I'm not the right stature (binding comes to mind, it's not comfy) and that I refuse to cut my hair makes it very difficult to cosplay as anything but Arwen. Though...I do pout somewhat like Ed... >_>;
I will send just a word just to get you my addy. look for a mail from gmail...I'll call it Gerbear. Too exciting!!
my back is finally, a month later, back to normal, which means, hurts some but does not restrict my movement. I need surgery but will tuff it out instead *L*
How was your trip to the Woodlands? Have a great time? I am sorry we didnt get to meet but perhaps another time we can. i signed up at Floating Ginko but my wacom is broken and i find the mouse hard to use on that kind of program. Anyhow, hugs girl. :)
i will keep in touch and let you know how it is going. Anime is very cool, lots of very good art and lots of kids now interested in being artists which is great!
Happy Valentines day!! I am running to tell Catmom that now too!! *warm hugs*
I had NO idea that she was your mother!!! It just surprised me completely!
She has been awesome to me for a very long time. Always looks, always votes. It means more than perhaps people realize. Each of my draws is a part of me and it is kind of like a gift I give and the comments and votes are a gift given back.
I am very pleased that she liked it. I have to admit it is one of my best drawings probably ever *L*
Glad to see you here!!
can't really think of anything other than my nightmares
and sorrow. >.> and how EVERYTHING in my house annoys me.

im 12 but he sounds like a twat
what about "reducing" the colors? a real two color challenge? with only lime green and orange for example
Followed you over from Meno's site (followed her here from ichc). This place won't be the same with Meno gone.

though I did use them.. but nothing like this has happened previously..
Maybe I'll just move my mouse further away, as Gerbear hinted, so it wouldn't cause any bugs.
Thanks for the comment btw!
I just noticed the older pages of your gallery... nice ***!
Im not even an anime fan but I want to practice some cause it seems
perfect to do on sketchfu dontcha think?
Anyway good work with thee old color challenges c u around!
Ah, so that's your mom, huh? All you had to do was say so, I had no idea. Yes, it was very generous of her and I'm very grateful. *jab* I have no reason to sass you mom! In fact I'd be on my hands and knees begging for those photos. The costumer's world is a strange, bizarre place and we need all the research material we can get. 'No flaming' yerself! XD You have a very cheeky streak, ma'am! *g* What did I ever do to you?! *laughs* Don't underestimate my LOTR knowledge and appreciation just because I'm 16. ;P You see, I have a cheeky streak too!
KAt, I understand where u are coming from with that lil rip off artist, but that is not the first picture she ripped off. It was done with the intention of garnering attention for her gallery. i am an art teacher and VERY kind to EVERYONE about their art, no matter what the age group, in real life and here, but this was no mistake! It was the second time she did it and she made the other artist very angry too, go to her gallery and find the pic and look and read THAt artists comment. This was not an innocent error, she already KNEW it makes artists MAD.
The color challenges were a great idea.
Sorry I haven't been able to reply quickly, I've had so many messages and I've been so behind! But thanks so very much for all of your comments and cheers!
Love,

I looked thru yur website, very nice stuff, you draw a lot which is fantastic. I wish you luck there. You MUST get to know Luthien here. She does some graphics for a costume site, the ones like yours. She also does anime. Thanks again and i will get thru your gallery soon, am leaving for a 10 vacation in 2 days.!1
I sent this to EC, might help you too!
Here are my suggestions. Go to download.com and search for "clean pc" There are several items in there such as 'PC Clean 1.3' 'Ad Smasher 4.1.30' , that will help really clean the yuck files from your pc. You can also search "Window Washer" which is a nice one. I also like Adaware se (but they released a newer version recently) Here is a link on how to clean the dirt from your processor etc http://www.directron.com/cleaning.html. You can also do START- RUN and type %temp% - this will bring up all your temp files that can be deleted out. After that your pc will run better and is less likely to crash while uploading your sketchfu's. Email me if you need more help. It's my username @yahoo.com. I am a tech support chick in my daylight hours, and a crime-fightin superhero at night.
Thank you so very much for your help. Now I have one question, what do you use on a MAC???
( :)
Domo arigato for all your lovely comments I'm glad you are enjoying my sketches heheh! =) really it means alot.

I love Sketchfu! I have been hooked from the moment I stumbled on it, and I'm blown away by all the talent here and the friendly atmosphere :) Trying not to stay up and draw till past 4am now though, at least not if I have to work the next day (this stuff is just too addicting ;)
i hope i finish sakura soon i have so many other stuff to draw...

But as a small FYI, my drawing is based on a painting, so you'll be adding to my version of something else. I just want to give credit where it's due. I just didn't want to publish the artist's name and the title of the painting before I published the end result - so as to keep everyone on their toes. :P
Really helps if you want to get that one line Juuuust right :)
I'm only a year older!
=3
I'm twelve.
Yup.

And here's one you can't see very well, but it's still there.
http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u110/hawkefrost/DosWolves.jpg
And another, much worse one.
http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u110/hawkefrost/LoneWolf.jpg
Yes, I did draw these.
*shakes head*
Second, it's not a tablet thing, because I use a mouse too. You change the opacity, that's the key. What you do is choose a dark colour and then change the opacity to however light you want it using the < and > keys. When you do, just take the brush and go over the whole drawing. It may take a few tries to get the effect that you desire, so you can always hit the "z" shortcut on your keyboard to undo.
Hope that helps! :)
