there are still many pieces here that take hours. All of my drawings take over 2 hours and some take up to 10 hours or more if it is a detail piece. All good and great art takes an enormous amount of time to complete, something the young kids here do not understand. they spend 5 minutes on a draw and then come to me and ask why mine is so much better lol

Alot of very beautiful dragon drawings there, extraordinary artist.

Loved the LOTR books, read them 3 times over the yrs. Long before the movie was made, probably long before the director was even born lol

FU will never be the same. it has been flooded with much younger kids and with that comes trolls, fights and problems because they are not mature enough to get along. unless the owners make 2 sites, one for young and older adults or older teens and one for kids, then it will always be the way it is now, a mess and a disappointment. I love childrens art, I am an art teacher to young kids, but it is the bad attitudes and fights and art stealing that make me insane.

i also am disappointed at some of the "art"that is being voted into the first places as some of the pictures are based on popularity of the artist vs the true merit of the work. This has always been true some, but with thousands of kids the voting is getting all messed up. Pics get vote din just because they are of some cartoon character the kids know, while some seriously beautiful ART is being ignored.

I do not, however, take any of it too seriously, as this is still a web site, and while a big part of my life, not my whole life.

Read your comment on Holly profile and boy did you describe FU perfectly! I have been here for over 2 yrs now. Many of the people here I helped drag over from a place called YouDraw (that is still there go and ck it out). I made so many good friends and this place WAS like heaven. And no need for mods.i HATE being a mod. i HATE the trouble here now, the mean and bullying and whiney helpless kids. I love kids, but not ones like I just mentioned above. I would give anything for the old FU to come back.
