About QTgillie
I am experimenting over at 2Draw, just in case anyone misses me....or....starz or gel_o, or jpjp. We are all over there drawing.
I am a whiteboard artist on Bebo and sketchfu. I am also a substitute teacher and certified Art Education Teacher. In my gallery you will find Alfred Hitchcock Movies, old classic movies, renderings of the renaissance artists, people, animals, birds and misc. I started drawing on Bebo.com about a year ago and have quite a collection on that site. I discovered this site just this August of 2007. Since I became a member here I have learned how to use opacity and my husband purchased me a slightly used WACOM on the net. I love it! I love it here. I love drawing and learning diffent techniques from all of the other artist. The freinds are nonstop. The site is what you make of it and I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoyed creating.

I have something up my sleeve. Do you still have my email addy and i will tell you or I will see if i can find yours again!! Hope things are good in LauraLand *grin and hugs*
At Ginko they have the Odeki Shi Painter as well as the PBS program. It's much more sophisticated than Sketchfu but I seem to be learning it quite quickly.
Thank you for taking the time to check out my gallery at Ginko

Lol....that's what one goofball 8th grader calls me so I thought I'd share. I don't mind it from him as the phrase and the way he says it makes me think of Jerry Lewis and in turn, makes me smile....lol.
So, with a twinkle in my eye, a warm spot in my heart, a perpetual smile on my face, and sore cheeks, I wish you a Happy Easter!
Hugs!

I wouldn't even think of leaving if Matt and Andrew were 'on board' but I guess they have moved on . . . The other thing I like about Ginko is the facility to upload drawings from other sites. I love having my art together so I can see how I've developed over the last seven months or so since I found Sketchfu and started drawing. Maybe it's possible to do that at 2draw but I haven't found it.
BTW - I'm not sure the shadows are too dark if you look at the original. I'm trying to accentuate the contrast but every time I try to blend it in it just goes 'bland' again. I've been working on another b/w portrait over at Ginko as an entry for the Jam competition - nine hours! My hand is complaining but I think it's much better than this one. I would love you to take a look:

It's about the third one down at the moment.
That's what inspired me to have another go at this one but I just had to stop last night as I could hardly hold the pen . . .
Nice to have you drop in!
Chris
