I am the DesuFallenAngel.
This is a reform movement.
"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat." -Theodore Roosevelt
"@Autumnpelt: I'm just trying to raise a bit of awareness here. I have another account on this site which I use to create actual art.
@Heart678: You don't seem to understand. I never said drawing OC's wasn't art. I draw mine all the time. I'm just saying that complaining about the RP rule is getting you no where. Complaining about not being able to RP is also extremely ignorant. Complaining in such a way shows no respect for the adults on this site, who have had to put up with the things some of the kids do for a very long time. If you want to be on the site, you should draw. It doesn't matter what you draw, just as long as you put effort and hard work into your art. ^^"
"Pebble-san has a point, you know.
We're just trying to promote art and creativity. We don't spam, and we don't hack. The Desus that you're so annoyed at are actually, for the most part, wannabes, who originally come from DB. They're not true Desus.
"Have any of you ever known someone who is or was depressed? Do you know how much it hurts to be their friend and watch them fight a battle they don't think they can win?
Do you know what its like to watch your friend contemplate suicide?
I do. Its terrible. Painful. Heart-wrenching. And what's worse is the fact that you feel completely helpless. Your friend is about to kill themselves, and there's nothing you can do about it.
Fortunately, my friend managed to survive their battle with depression, but the fact remains that many others don't.
That's why, in my opinion, its NOT okay for you DBers to be flaunting around depressed characters like its some kind of twisted fashion craze. Depression is a disease that innocent people suffer from, and occasionally die from. Under NO circumstances is it okay for you to take such a serious affliction so lightly.
There has been a ridiculous increase in "depressed" and "emo" type DBs in this app lately. Not only is it not creative, considering how many of them there are, but its also insulting to those who actually suffer.
