Yay! ^_^ As for the profile pic, I went to the Renaissance Faire last month, spent all year making replica 1938 Robin Hood and Will Scarlet costumes for my sister and I. Golly, I wish you could see the entire costume, we were wearing tights and everything, not to mention an antique mandolin and prop bow. Captain Jack Spareribs is fantastic! We saw him at the Pirate Festival, but never expected to see him at the Ren Faire! :D What a delightful fellow! http://people.tribe.net/ace_miles He stays in character whenever there may be anybody watching. Even while we were standing next to him, he was still swaying a bit! XD That's my type of costumer, I could never do that!

Ah, that'd be GREAT! Finally some one-on-one, and it's even better that you don't mind talking about it! Please, please tell me if anything at all in the story plan makes you cringe, that's exactly what I want to avoid. I've heard some good things about Writing.com, do you know of it? I'll grab both sites and compare them, see which I like best. :)

On the bright side, since we both consider ourselves quite opposite in the realm of writing and visual art, I can try to help you as well if you want. :D Not that you are doing badly AT ALL, there's smashing stuff in your gallery! It's very difficult for me to switch gears from designing in colors and lines to composing in phrases and sentences. It'd be super if we could chat, there a lot of potential in that! :D

Hi Neku. First of all I'd like to thank you for all your cheers and lovely comments - it motivates me to make more crazy stuff!! And No, I don't have a comic of my own; my work and my personal situation doesn't alowe me to. It simply takes too much time, though these little drawings here on Sketchfu don't take too much time and are very relaxing and fun (I usually do this at nights, when my little 6 months-old girl is asleep.) So, that's my story.
I really hope you keep commenting/cheering my drawings. Makes my day.

Really? <:D You want to hear about it?? YAY! What you're seeing right now on Sketchfu is chibi versions of my characters, I wanted to try it for fun. Right now I'm just trying realize the fact that somebody really WANTS to hear about it...I even drive my sister crazy with this stuff. >.< But then, that's why I'm here. Family response to art is very limited. ANYWAY!

A few months ago I tried to start a discussion about the story here: http://www.tawmis.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3547 It didn't work the way I thought it was going to...at all. I'm almost embarrassed that I presented it to them, I'm very confused myself about how to make a simple story outline and Tawmis.com seemed sheltered enough to prevent me from crashing...but it wasn't the right place to look for guideance. I really don't know how to judge my writing or style, all I need is an outline and I do not want to make a novel out of it. It's a comic for heaven's sake, but I can't get that through to my silly brain. Please understand that I have not developed any confidence in writing; I cover my eyes every time I see a comment on it.

Anyhow, there is a pretty good read in there with character profiles, overviews and such. Posts #1 and #5 are the best to get a decent look at my though process (I don't want to waste your time with the replies and directionless prattle of the discussion. I may just improve and update to move over to Writing.com, I shouldn't bother Tawm's board with stuff like that.). Though the characters haven't changed much, I might have to do a lot of script freehand if I find it lacking. Also, please beware of the picture profiles in Photobucket, they are several months old.

Now, after that doom speech, here's the good stuff: I really do love my characters. :) They are better than all the story put together. I can't wait to put Nigel on Sketchfu for the first time, he's a chum! ^_^ Honey and Cathy will be there too. I believe my characters have more potential then what I've produced for them to walk in, I want to do my very best! I just don't know how to form my imagination into a comic. They story takes twists and turns every day in my head, it's crazy how quickly an entire story point can be destroyed!

Ah, Silhouettes are fun. You can make pretty much any anatomical error as long as it doesn't show on the outline. Then you fill it with black. I'm a little ashamed I couldn't do better, I usually do when it's based on a really good song. :( Oh well, practice practice. I can't win with myself every time. drawing that pattern was easy til near the end and then i really had to concentrate to remember which circle group i was on *L* I love doing the patterns, very relaxing, yet a bit of a challenge because I do actually plan what colors and patterns get put down. Thanks for your fun comment!

You say your hands are unsteady.. have you been diagnosed with something called carpal tunnel syndrome? I had it and my grip on pens and cups got really bad... had an operation on both wrists which sorted it out- but use of a mouse still aggravates it...hope the drawing pad helps you.. it did me!

My husband fouond one on ebay for me...slightly used, it is great.

I have not noticed that, but everyone recomended Wacom to me. If you go to my profile I sent out a similar message as you just did and scroll quite a way down yo can see what everyone wrote to me.

Wacom is what was recomended to me, which is what I have. I like it so far. A bit awkward at first, then it is great.

I am not sure if I can find a good picture of the horse of a different color, problem is there isn't too many of them, and most of the ones with the horse of a different color haven't got good angles on the horse. So I can't make promises, been everywhere to find the best pictures and most of them are too small to get a good feel for the details, and enlarging them ruins the pixels, so we'll see.

LOL, I started a new D&D campaign last night with about 6 other peeps. It was so much fun. We will play every Sunday. I have 4 bachelor cats and my mom has 1. She is staying with us since she had heart surgery. Her princess cat does not like my princes. LOL. It's fun though. My cats are the bomb. They like to lay around and watch when I play PS3. I don't know how I would live without them!!

The point about most art is it isn't viewed from close up. There are many parts that blend at a distance.

Me too, Neku! The plagarists are the worst ... publishing someone's picture verbatim and then signing their name to it ... that really rots me! It's only happened to me once (for "Betty Boop") but I let that person know I was NOT a happy camper. And I hate to see some of the truly beautiful work here defaced by trolls. Not cool!

Thanks for the suggestion. I was thinking that a different feature would be good: for the original artist to reserve the right to delete any drawing that was made from his/her original art, if they do not feel that it was done so in a respectful way. Or at least flag it as "Stolen Property". What do you think of that?
