You DO NOT have to feel obligated to cheer my drawings because I cheered yours!

On the other hand, if you do like my drawings then feel free to cheer them, but I do not want them in a 'If you scratch my back I'll scratch yours'-kind of way.

You DO NOT have to feel obligated to thank me for cheering you drawings!

I cheered your drawings because they had some kind of effect on me that I appreciated, I cheered them because they deserved to be cheered. I did not cheer them as a favor from me to you, so you do not have to thank me for it.


This is how I think all of SketchFu should work. I'm tired myself of feeling I have to cheer as a thanks, or for feeling guilty that I did not cheer someone back or thank them for their cheers. I don't think you should have to feel that way.
Cheers are always appreciated, noone needs to tell you for you to realize that. Unless they come in ridiculous amounts I don't see why there's a need to thank anyone for cheering.

And the very point of cheering will be forgotten if everyone starts cheering each other just to get their own cheers up.

Now go out there and cheer for the right reasons!
