About EvilSeedlet
I've gotten sort of attached to this site, so I guess I should fill this thing out decently, huh?
Well, my name is Phillipa, but please call me Seed. I am 19 years old.
I am self taught (with the help of a few books;)) and have been drawing since I can remember. I'm best with a mechanical pencil and a goodol' sheet of printer paper, but I like to mess around with pens, sharpies, colored pencils, and all sorts of things.
I like to draw all kinds of things and am always looking for new ideas-- be warned though, if I draw something I'm NOT interested in, it tends to suck.
A lot of my stuff is drawn from references, so if it looks too good to be true, I probably copied it from something ^^;
Aw, darn. A tablet-less artist. That sucks, I'm sorry.
I'm fine, a little bit submerged in chaos but it's fine. ^_^ I'm doing an average job of catching of with fellow Sketchfuers one step/cheer at a time, it's really nice to be back in the swing of things, however sluggishly I accomplish it. *laughs* Other then being deprived of your tablet, I hope you're doing ok as well?
sorry u think that but i have not benn at my home for a wiel i whent to the army to see my unkel and he is in reabilitasho he is hert im telling u i dont steel my cuz to use my acount i like the kitty but i dont steel piks from people some thimes i finish them but i ask them. hope u can forgive my cuz.
Mr. Groundhog will probably not see his shadow if it is anything like today! Was cloudy and rainy all day the temp started going up overnight, it went from snow to sleet and then rain, so maybe just maybe it will be cloudy tomorrow! then maybe we will see spring early! yeah! you know how bad the weather sucks here! lol, I am guessing our weather today should be in Pa. tomorrow which is where Puxatunie Phil is(or what ever his name is, lol) god,I would love an early spring for once, been a long while. :D
Hey, little one, if ever you need to talk, don't be afraid to ask, we can hook up through e-mail if you do, can't promise I can solve your troubles, but I might help lighten the blues up a bit... :D tomorrow is my grandson's 11'th birthday, on groundhog day, lol, almost everyone in my family is on some sort of a holiday, or important day, lol. I just can't believe he is going to be that old, time flies, it makes me feel old, and I am not that old! I remember kids in school had parents that are my age...so I feel pretty young in my mind anyways, either that or I am senile...hmmmm...well...lol, are you smiling yet? hope so take care and let me know again if you need to talk...starz/terry
Hi kiddo, where have you been hiding, haven't heard from you lately...hope things are going goood for you out there in OK, you are still there no??? drop me a line and let me know what is new and exciting in your life, has to be something good going on! take care!
I hope that you do not mind me adding YOU???!! I came across your work and really liked a lot of it! I don't want to miss out on any of your future draws!!!!***!!!
wow kiddo sorry to hear that, but at least it sounds as though you are doing ok right? Hope things go good for you out there and hey at least you have your art! Keep smiling and keep in touch ok? fellow col.sta.ite. :D
wow dear when did you move????? hadn't heard from you in a while and checked out some pics and noticed you moved. How do you like oklahoma???? seemed sudden what's up? drop me a line of two.
Yeah, the thumb is a real stinker to draw. All those troublesome joints and so hard to see. I spent a lot of time working in a machine shop and every time the machine would start a cycle, I'd draw a hand. Dunno why I wanted to draw hands so badly that day, but I was going stir crazy and filled the entire page with mitts. :P
*hug* No prob! Just as long as you're fine. :) The sun doesn't move, I guess he'll just fall off. Oh well, we won't have to watch him grow old with a spine like that. :P I left the video for Transdermal Celebration at the bottom of the comments, it rocks almost as much as it's animator. Hands are pretty fun to draw, you draw an upside down triangle and add four balls on the wide end for knuckles and go from there. The thumb is a little trickier, but it's a snap after you figure it out. That was a ton of cheers and comments, thank you very much! :D
Hm, you already know that my favorite (yes, in the whole wide world) is LOTR. Castle in the Sky was a really good one, though! :D I need to see what V for Vendetta is about, a lot of people like that movie.
Thanks for the cheer and comment! :D It's ok if you don't know about Naruto, it's better not to waste your time anyhow. I've never spent so much time in front of the computer before. :P
Oh, thank you, thank you. :) I guess it's just because drawing realism and having to compare it to the photo stresses me a bit. I can always see that it's 'not quite right', and that really eats at my patience after a while. :P Plus the fact that it's my favorite movie and all, I want to do the best I can. :)
Thanks! :) I did a miserable job, though. :( Drawing from photos was never my high point, yet drawing freehand always turned out dull. *boo hoo* I just need a break, I'll draw something better later. *mutter* I frustrate myself.
I reckon it's a perfect start, aside from the furthest laser and the perspective on the feet. Well, if I didn't think that I wouldn't have started colouring :P But yeah, it's difficult to make a mech look good. Anyway, I need to get to bed. Will follow your sketching from now on! :)
You're welcome! I try to look at as many people's artwork as possible... for inspiration and time-killing purposes. :)
I'm a big Sci-Fi fan, so the wolf kind of stood out. Always wanted to draw things like that but just can't get it to look 3D... Something about them always looks flat :(
This is your official invitation to draw a CAT and become a charter member of the legendary and exclusive cat Club! Won't you draw a cat and join the cat Club?mew!!!
Ooh, that's right. Halloween coming up.. We don't really celebrate that in Holland :( I was going to come to friends in the US to celebrate it but I guess that will have to wait till next year
Too bad you think that way, allthough I respect your opinion. I just felt like drawing so and the colors were meant to look that way. And the fact that she is naked: well, that's just that. As we expect a female (or male) angel to wear a robe or clothing of such kind, we also might expect a male or female devil to be naked.
WOW ..!! i guess you did like my stuff... lol - thanks for the cheers and comments... But one thing .., You've got a fantastic talent whatever you do, don't stop .....:)
No prob! 8) I know another person who can redeem the name 'Tim' for you as well; Tim Foreman. He plays bass in my favorite band and is super nice, no way you can taint that name anymore! XD I used to hate quite a few names, now I don't very much mind them. It's the person in particular that counts.
This is your official invitation to draw a GOAT and become a charter member of the legendary and exclusive Goat Club! Won't you draw a goat and join the 'Goat-A-Thon'! got goat? In Goat We Trust. hehe.
Oh, by the way, I found a source for Trigun. NOW I can watch the rest! You can blame this lady for getting me interested in it ----> Woodooferret.com Man, I used to love her art. T_T She's a Trigun and LOTR fan and, while I don't care much for her set of morals, I do like her style. It's very playful and surprising, something I'd like to try my hand at. I attempted that years ago when I found her gallery on Elfwood, didn't work. I guess everyone sees things a little different, and I never was able to see her funky style and understand it completely. X-D Beware, she is one heckuva slow updater. Also, about Hellboy, I will try and watch that as well. For some reason, everything I haven't quite finished ends up in your gallery! *laughs*
Well, I'm off to watch Vash. Gotta love the ketchup blood. ;)
lol..I just read the comment on my self portrait.. it makes me feel old- Im 47! if you want to see some of my art look up mallaband-brown on google..mostly paintings- Im better at them than digital..
No. That was just my shadow-clone goofing with your mind. *wise guy face* I said I'd be taking a break for a couple weeks. BUT for the time being, I'm setting up a few plans for what I'm going to draw when I come back. Bwa ha ha! >:D <---has been watching Naruto...way too much Naruto. Her eyes are perfect squares, punishment for not doing sticking to her job.
You've got some great drawings :) Haven't checked them all yet (As it's 8pm and I haven't eaten yet so my stomach is starting to protest ;) but I definitely intend to :)
Have you found your tablet pen yet?
Ha ha! A Greek storybook. They WERE weird and sick anyway. :P Though I do have to give them the credit of having amazing imaginations. Where would we be without all their fantastical creatures? :D
No problem and thanks. :) Right now, I'm working on a modern comic. Shelohn is in a fantasy world rather than our own. I need to set up floor and landscape plans so I don't end up in a scrape while drawing the comics. -.-; Modern story first, though. It's going to take more than a little while if I want it to come out well. Here's a link if you'd like to know more: http://tawmis.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3547 No prob if you're not interested, I understand that. X-D If I believe this story will be a success, it will become a webcomic. I'm getting it done one way or another! BELEIVE IT! >;D
We have a Best Buy, they built it a few months ago. :) The only reason I shop at FYE is to keep it in the mall. We've lost Suncoast, Borders, See's Candies, I don't want to loose FYE too. Plus it's a little bit of depression over Tower Records going out of business. *boo hoo* Where am I going to get my LOTR minimates now?! <--nerd alert ;)
Yeah, the glasses are the one thing I forgot on my avatar. Oh well, I don't need them for up-close work anyway. :) I'm blind as a bat for stuff that's far away though.
I do? O.O Golly, thanks. X-D I was looking in FYE yesterday and checked for Trigun. Well, I found it, but they had to scrape my cold, dead carcase off the floor after I glimpsed the pricetag. Oh dear, oh dear! XD Why can't they just have it available for rent and then I could think about purchasing it 3 eps. at a time? *laughing*
me 2 I had to wait for the computer in order to finish the tin man, my son was playing poker til 1 am so...and I can't stand when I have a pic in limbo, well good nite!
lol I didn't think you thought it was, I just thought it was funny you made a picture about it, that cracked me up, hope you find it, and by the way shouldn't you be sleeping? lol.
Oh, cool. :) It's the only anime I've warmed to. Ever. None of the others even came close. It's been lisenced in the United States and is due for 2008, so if I rent Trigun, you must rent Ouran! >:D Ha ha!
I'm glad you liked it! :D I left a video clip in the comments so you can watch the scene it came from! :3 Once I though 'kitty-related' I thought of Kasanoda and I just couldn't help myself.
HI there thanks for your comment on 'Sable' I'm new to sketchfu but checkout my bebo page I draw on the white-board and stuff I love art I used to sleep with a pencil...p.s i added you as friend.
I believe angels too. There's no proof that fairys don't exist, so really I believe in them as well, even though they don't have as much ground to stand on as the holy folk. Who's to say they DON'T flutter around my garden? :D Must get back to work! I'll be home at six! :)
Not role-play, but it's a story I'm attempting to write so I can make it into a comic. 'Guard well these days' shows the main character, Faithful. I'll have to christen my gallery and draw my angel character! :) He needs to be seen! *claps hands* Come on Shelohn, don't be shy!
Oh you should definitely watch it some time! It's from the same people who made Serial Experiment Lane, and if you haven't seen that then you've gotta get them both!
haha, ok, it all makes sense now @_@ I thought I was having some strange lesbian moment and I wasn't sure what to do with it, lol. You know what would be super cute though? o.o if you put little tiny wings on all of them! (have you seen Haibane Renmai?)
Oh no, oh no! EvilSeedlet hates me! *mills in circles* Maybe I should blame Faithful. Yeah, blame the elf, what a great idea! >:-D Thanks for the cheer! :)
Thanks :) I like your pictures as well. Will look at them more later, it's rather late here right now (and I was going to finish my own drawing tonight! Ah well)
Hehe, I heard ya on that... Though I'm not sure who I'm more fond of, serious Wolf/Vash or goofy Wolf & Vash.... *sigh* Man, now i think i'm gonna have to go watch trigun now ;-; lol
It sounds familiar, the kids who lived over in those developements had the option of going to Olmsted Falls, so sometimes I met a few on the bus, I lived on sprague past columbia , or rather riverside, in-between usher and columbia. Near Fawn Lake, over the tracks.
I know where that is, my brother years ago worked at barbarino's, they had great pizza. That place has been there almost as long as you have been alive, if not longer. I can't say that I know your mom, did she grow up in Columbia? I knew a family that had moved over that way but I can't remember the name of the street, it was a girls' name, that's all I remember, their last name was Wasmer. I know some Bales, Duskie, Graf and gosh can't even remember them all been too long. lol, well who knows maybe one day we'll have the pleasure of meeting..
Where in Columbia? I will admit, you are a little younger than my children, but maybe you have older siblings. We lived in Columbia quite some time ago, we lived there for 8 years. I grew up in Olmsted Falls on Sprague rd. and hung out with a lot of people in Columbia Station. For all I know you could be one of their kids...
Hey girl, I lived in Columbia Station on Marks Rd. I now live in Brunswick, a stones throw. How long have you lived there? Did you go to Copopa? What a name for a grade school. Just wondering...I think it is amazing to find someone so close...your art is good. You are talented. You going to go to school for it? You should.
Ah, yes, I cry easily. It's pathetic, I can't help myself. I'll see if I can drag it home and force my sisters to watch it with me. ;) Though I've found it very, very difficult to even find famous Japanese cinema in my rental store. Uncultured blobs dwell there. X-D
Oh, yeah! I forgot about the tie... It's really a pity I wasn't able to see the entire series of Trigun. I did enjoy the nine episode I watched, though. *sigh* I love how they start off by making you think Vash is some sort of vicious monster. X-D Very crafty.
No problem! Heh, don't forget to add some sort of corny line with Vash, something like 'Depraved, mad lunatic!'. Sometimes those subs just don't translate right. X-D
The trolling is weak with gailface. You see you have to not just be an ass but you have to come up with something close enough to the truth but twisted enough to piss people off. Spewing obvious idiocy is just wasteful.
i can spell, its just i freaking hate savagejoshua. He has the ugliest art work in all the land, next to EvilSeedlet of course. She sucks. The worst artist i've ever seen. But savagejoshua he is just a pissy person. He needs to lose some pounds to. The old fat man!
Are you surprised? Someone with so little confidence in their own artistic ability they have to attempt to take other people down a peg by drawing mustaches on truly great stuff can't have a mental capacity far beyond that of a dead flea.
