Click on the "home" at the top left of the screen. Then click on the "Make Sketchfu better!" link. answer some simple questions and they'll tell you. If you don't want to do that you can just push "<" and ">" and that will change the opacity. To change the tool size, you push the "[" and "]". Enjoy.

To adjust the opacity of the brush you use the </> buttons, or the ,/. buttons.
