Kay Sketchfu sinchi sumaqmi!

My name is Talise, I am from Urubamba (Cusco) in Peru. I have lived in Peru half my life and half my life in Europe. Now I live in London where I study medicine and I hope I will be able to return home to Peru soon.
I have a wonderful boyfriend, Ruben, from Puno in Peru and we both dance in the same folkdance group.
I love to draw, and my inspiration I get when I listen to music. I mostly listen to andean music and my paintings are therefore mostly based on native south-and north-american culture. I am a mestiza (half native half white) and proud of my fathers native culture and want to present it in the form of drawings, dance and music.
Unfortunately I am not so good in painting but as long as you can see what it is I am happy hehe.

I have friends on here that I play with on InkLink. Some of my greatest friends are emigre, JayEL and LATE and many more. All wonderful people from diverse cultures.

Hi Cusquenita...I only look on Ink at lunchtime, I stay online at work and peek around SFU though. I'm 5 hours behind you btw...my time now is 11:30 am & you would be around 4:30 pm(?) I just tried to log in to see what you mean & yes, the connection is down. They might be changing the theme of the drawpad. Morning Cusquenita...Just letting you know you are able to delete the drawings you don't want, including "works in process". By doing so, no one is able to see them & then, you can add on to them before you publish for all to see. Only if you want that is, otherwise alot of artists leave their WIP's so others can see the stages. If you delete them for good, they go into a file & unfortunately stay there in your profile. We all wish we could permenantly delete the Delete pics. Anyhow, the choice is yours. :-) L8*
