Hi! If you use the < and > keys when you pick a colour thats how you get the watercolour effect :)

acctually, if you press the left click then the right at the same time then go to the place you want your line to end and click once or twice you can make a perfectly straight line :)

the watercolor effect is using the opacity tool. After you pick a color then tap several times on the < key to make it more transparent. Tap on the > key and it will make it more opaque. You don't need to use the shift key to make these work.....For straight lines, click with the left button and while holding the left button down click once with the right button, now release both buttons and move your mouse to where you want the line to end and click the left button again and the line should appear. It takes a little practice to get used to it but it's not that hard. Good luck and welcome to Sketchfu....If you need more help, please ask me and maybe I can help you..

Thanks for the comment :P Its really hard to draw straight lines :( You have to move your mouse fast enough and release the left click at the right time. It took me like ten tries on each row of checkerboard squares

Nope. No drawing pad, just a piece'o'junk marble mouse. Except maybe a few of drawings that I did at work; then I used a standard optical mouse. I'm glad you liked the zombie caterpillar.
