I'm still chugging away trying to get worked up for realism. The end of the school year is brutal.

He he! That's a good idea! ^_^ (I need to watch LOTR again...in this case, absence makes the heart grow forgetful). Have you heard that the plans for The Hobbit to become a film are final? :D It's a messy business but at least Pete will be a (smaller) part of it. I'm still so fascinated by what he's already done, though. There's enough content in the story and films to last a lifetime.

Anyhow, I have only two more pics to do in the current series and then I'm going to draw Sam! Do you have any suggestions for a good reference photo of him?

Thanks, I can sit now for a time without it hurting. but it still bothers me when i am up and around too much, but it was always bad and getting worse so I just have to grin and bear it or have back surgery! I think i will grin!! I need to get a new drawing pad, they are expensive but i hate using the mouse and it hurts my wrist. Please tel Kat i am serious about meeting her if she comes here. Not knowing what date your birthday is exactly, let's just say the card will be done before the end of January *L* I know you have seen enough of my art by now to know it is impossible for me to do a picture quickly or uncomplicated!
I REALLY got into this one, i hope you like the character I picked. I really liked him in the books and fell in love with him in the movie. My second fav was Gollum but somebody just did him like a week ago or so.

Half a million? Wow, that's crazy cool. I'm into studying Arwen's costumes, so any unusual pics of her would be very welcome, especially ones with clear shots of crowns, trim, props, etc... I can't tell you how much trouble it was to redesign her mourning crown with so few pictures and all of them blurry (I cosplay. The replicas I make are never for profit). The coronation crown was a no-brainer (except for the construction part. An article that I wrote for this should show up on Alleycatscrach.com soon after it's renovation. We're working hard to make the site look nice. *smile*). Now I need shots of her chase outfit and buckle. So these pics are all from Newline? As in, off the internet from Newline or straight from the sticky hands of Newline? Either way, I'd be really happy to see the pictures! :D I couldn't get any info from the original jeweler (Jasmine Watson), she never answered my email. *frowns* So do you have any clear pics of the mourning crown or chase outfit? :D Exhibition and museum shots are usually the best since you get photos in untouched lighting and from different angles. Please let me know, I'm totally interested! Thanks!
