Sounds good to me. -_- I should do the same thing. It's just that I promised myself that if I ever did get a site that involved conversation and somebody wanted to say hi, I would always say hi back. I realize that it's very hard to do now, but keeping it up is worth it. I really can't believe so many comic artists and animators and DevArt artists completely shun thier viewers. Biting the hand that feeds them, it makes me feel horrible. :( *end of rant*

Not that you're doing ANY of those things, of couse not! :D It's a great idea, I'm all for it! ^_^
I agree Gerry this palace is fantastic but time consuming- and so friendly!
omg, hit the nail on the head. you know I'm here, there and everywhere, sometimes not as much, sometimes more. Sometimes quiet and sometimes not. High ^5 with me..and let the games begin. The holidays are 5 minutes away!! ;-P XO
Sounds like a good plan....a time consuming place for sure!
aww thats adorible``)
I always enjoy looking at the stuff you've drawn ^_^ because it's undoubtedly worth looking at :P
I know what you mean about getting behind with thanks and cheers... that's the same reason I drew a thankyou picture... and spent a lot of time on it, because, as lily says, it is less personal, so I had to at least make it pretty... And so have you :D
Cheers to you my dear Gerry.I love Sketchfu but sometimes it's turn very big.Hard to catch all comments, all cheers and all drawings. Most of all very hard to thanks everyone who look, cheers and comments on our drawings. A universal thanks become a good idea. It's not very personal but it's help to pass the message. Happy to see you back. It's great to have someone like you here at Sketchfu. You are a very kind person. I appreciate you a lot.*Hugs*
your in my thoughts too. thanks! and cheers to you, my friend
Sounds very doable, my friend ... and this coming from one of your worst pact-breakers ... hehheh! It works for me ... think we should all adopt this; as you pointed out, it leaves more time for actual drawing! My husband and I don't do much for the holidays (there's just the two of us, after all), but I realize most everyone else here has a family and a gazillion things to do. So if you don't have time to comment or cheer or chat, fuhgeddaboudit!
Has been a while since I drew a proper thank you and I know there are many who made comments or cheered that I didn't get to thank in "person". So this is for all of you friendly and kind people who took your time to visit my gallery. I love hearing from everyone and knowing that sometimes my silly things have made somebody smile.

Equally, I enjoy going around and looking at everyones art also. I really don't do it as a "favor" or just because somebody came and looked at mine, altho that sometimes alerts me to a new person. I don't usually look at the recent picture gallery, just no time. I look because I enjoy seeing what people come up with. Sometimes I look because I know there will be humor, or pathos, or sweetness or some incredible feat of ability that blows me away or just a vast improvement on somebodies part. I honestly love it all. I find art to be much more real than the personas we present to the world, I feel I see more into a persons heart if I see their art.

But, small sigh, the holidays are coming and I am not the worlds best holiday organizer *L* So i am always behind and stressed. Because of that I need to make some changes in how i operate here for a bit, if it works out, then maybe it will spread and we can all have more drawing time!

i keep making pacts not to say thank you and then keep breaking them as does everyone else i make them with *L* But i am really and truly going to try to use a drawing for a mass thank you. Or mention when i visit a draw. My comments will probably be shorter. I am not mad, only busy. Soon as i can get the time to get back to my overly wordy self, trust me, I will rip the duct tape off my mouth!

I am going to thank people right on my drawing and if they say something that is a conversation starter, then i will continue the conversation there instead of jumping back and forth between profiles for every reply. The pros of that...coherent conversations that others can join into also. The downside, everyone has to remember to come back and see if there is a reply because it will not show up in your messages. But we did it like that at YouDraw and it did seem to work. If we really needed to let someone know there was an important reply, we would go to their last draw and tell them to look back.

As far as galleries, i will still have to "gerbear" them as i can. Meaning, go thru several weeks worth of work at once. It is much faster for me and more coherent too in terms of looking at art.

So, hope you all understand. If you catch me straying form this focused path, slap my hand *L*

Thanks again! and pardon the million typos please.
