Well done! the time was worth waiting for...

Phenomenal, the scales are just perfect!

one thing i learned from one of my proffesors in art was to complete the whole drawing (painting at one time...you are doing section by section a thing i was famous for...but i am very impressed you have a lot of talent...hope you are going to art school...i also like the way you lay down your color palate ... keep up the awesome work...jodi

Very nice pic, wonderful colors here, ha, 4hrs 40 min! is that why you checked longest pic? lol, I laugh outloud, nice try though! Ya I don't know how mine got so long other than I had one that was finished inbetween that I lost the finished pic to, and had to restart the pic from the first one, so I think the middle pictures time was still added to my final pic, I didn't really spend 6 hrs just lost one in publishing and had to start from another, so I think yours might be the longest. Sure is one of the best though!

May, I just say that I'm a bit annoyed with all the people on sketchfu that go "OMG OMG! Just like a photo" . What they mean to say is you've drawn that really well. A painting should not look like a photo unless your style is photorealism. Just because something looks like a photo doesn't make it good, in fact it can lose certain qualities. Photos are 2D, most artists try to make their work as engaging and as interesting as possible, not just make it look like a photograph. Excellent by you, Frogness, though.

absolutely astounding! I concur 100% with Luthien. I think God must have been mixing up earth in heaven one day, and accidentally spilled his jar of 'talent' all over you. The only teensy-weensy things I could suggest would be to clean up that transition from green to brown underneath tyhe eye (though that may have been intentional) and to add some soft white highlighting to the scales on the belly. other than that, it's nigh-on photographic! Bravo!

wow um let me see i usualy try to help people become better by pointing out the good and bad parts of the picture then suggest how to fix it but i see i woon't be able to do that with this picture. so i'll just stick with wow!
