She's saved many a movie, (even she can't save some of the british tv she's been on). Impressed how her small role in "The Shipping News" was SO powerful & indelible and the rest of the movie....well, can't remember any rest of the movie except a pretty seaport.
I can totally see it now. She's a good looking older woman, she must have been beautiful here. I know she has been in tons of movies, but right now I can only think of one of my faves...Chocolat with Juliette Binoche. I love that movie.
