we found a huge quarter ammonite on the beach near scarborough a few years ago- not sure if they are jurassic period- look at nautilus shells today for comparison...

All over alaska they were selling jewelry made from that and i had never heard of it but it had rainbow colors and i wanted one badly. This 1s very pretty.
