Such a fresh-faced young fellow! I don't trust him ... it's the Eddie Haskell Syndrome. (It's from an American TV series in the 50s and 60s called, unfortunately, "Leave It To Beaver." Eddie Haskell was this obnoxious friend of the older brother, and he was forever sucking up to Wally's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cleaver who, of course, never bought his act for an instant! Beaver Cleaver was the younger brother and the show's namesake. His given name was Theodore but his parents always referred to him as "The Beaver." Seriously. I'm laughing just thinking about it! And it's so sad that I actually remember all this ...)
