Looks like old metal with a gorgeous patina to me. I agree with everyone else, incr4edible the way you just randomly started "doodling" and that magnificent and correct face appears. I have noticed something aobut your faces and i have watched the replays many times, you don't have one technique. sometimes you begin with the shadows, another the highlights, this time with fine lines. But they all end up looking distinctly yours. Sunsi, I hope we stay in touch, you ae going places int he art world, I promise and I would love to see your work develop!

Interesting technique. I like how you 'pulled' the image out of the background colors (seemingly randomly thrown in); that was pretty cool that you ended up with odd little areas of random colors on the subject. It actually makes for a metallic or ceramic (raku) feel. Greatastic!!!
