I've only seen one duplicate of your work, but I think I understand a little better now I've had a look. People imitating you is one thing... copying exactly... well that could be irritating. I'm not sure I agree that your style alone shouldn't be imitated though, I mean the way you draw is very clean and accessible, you know? If the content is otherwise original, what does it matter if someone uses the way you render as a starting point? That aside, there are those who don’t have this in mind, I know.

So what’s my point? The line between the people copying you and the people being inspired by you relies more on the intention of the person doing it than the end result.
I cope by assuming good intentions, although I know I’m lying to myself on occasion. Ideally, people should make these intentions clear by asking first and crediting you for what they've taken. If they did, you'd be able to tell the artists from the thieves and not have to pin the blame on everyone... Sadly, some things just aren't going to change. If snapping like this is just the way you deal with it, then that’s just what you’ll have to do. I’d prefer to see you vent more through your artwork, though; At least that way something’s gained instead of lost. Glad you’re not going, and hope, somehow, things become less frustrating for you here.
