Out of some deep thinking I decided to make myself a reference sheet for magical markings for writing my book. (Witches, Wizards, Mages, Sorcerers, etc.)

When you practice magic, you start to bear noticable marks showing what kind of magic you practice. The marks are always in distinct places, such as the face, neck, shoulders, arms, and hands. There are three main groups of magic:

Natural-
This magic has to do with interacting with the natural earth around you, using plants and animals to your atvantage in spells and potions. Markings: Leaves, Plants, flowers, animals.

Dark Arts and Necromancy
This magic allows you to connect with the dead through corpse reanimation, creation of hollows, and interaction with ghosts to use destructively/information-wise. Markings: Skulls, ghosts, bones, marks that look like wounds

Spiritual
This allows you to look deep within your soul to make personality adjustments. You can change the energies around you, so a fight's aggressive energy can instantly turn to loving energy. You can also hypnotize/control other's minds. Markings-Stars, Spiritual symbols,
