OMG the patience of a saint, not only for this one, but the lost one, may he rest in peace! I'd not have had the heart to do over. You know, I've been thinking, what if we save in our favorites the page we are working on in case something happens? Will it load at the point of when the save to favorites happened? It may work I'll have to experiment! That may be the answer to so many lost pics into cyberspace! I know your problem was a little different, but it is worth a try...oh beautiful picture, by the way so sorry got all caught up in your loss..I was waiting and waiting, watching the WIP and it was worth the wait, beautiful!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR @ the death of your first version. You KNOW how I feel about that....but congratulations on this one!!!! You did a fantastic job!!!! Can I ask you this: "Which brand of #2 pencil did you use to draw this?" LOL. If one didn't know any better, I will be willing to bet that 99% will say: "Pencil". I like this, it's very well done. The way the owl is framed off to the right just works somehow, the eyes have a nice depth and shine to them, and the texture on the feathers, especially on the face, is great.

That said, whenever I see a snowy owl I just can't help but think "O RLY?"

Boy, does this one have a story. As I finished my absolute last (yes, LAST) stroke, and was moving my mouse to hit the "Publish" button and post the finished (yes, FINISHED) version of this, my IE crashed (CRASHED!) and my poor Snowy friend died a horrible death (may his soul rest in peace in the cold vastness of cyberspace). So I took it upon myself to recreate him a day later, and I must say, version 2 is not as successful as the original and I'm not altogether satisfied. But he's ever adorable and still cuddly, so I kept him as he is. Hope you like my Snowy Owl! :D
