YES, collab draws are OK but rp draws are NOT. Contests are ok but giving cheers as prizes is not. A suggestion of a prize is to draw a pic with an award or a ribbon and the winners name.
There is a site called muzy.com You can role play there.
It is more private. You just need to tell your friends to go there. It does not require you to be 14 years old. It is owned and run by matt and andrew who are owners of sketchfu. It is more like facebook in that you can just be with your friends and others cannot see you unlessthey are on your friends list.
Matt and andrew want more members there. We want less role playing here.

It is clear the new no rp rule has upset many of you. We actually do understand this.
But thing at FU are going to change and all of you will have to agree to any new rules or find a new site.
Fu was created as an art/drawing site for people age 14 and up. It was NEVER designed as a rp site for young kids aged 14 and under!, if you are younger than 14 then you are breaking the first rule of the site!!!
The drawing aspect of fu has been ruined by the role play draws. They are not or even attempted art. Tney are clones of the same picture. The browse drawings is a joke now, browse what? The same wolf or long haired girl 150,000 times each day?
The voting system has been ruined! People make accts and vote for themselves! People give away cheers as prizes in contests!!!! That is all cheating. The best artwork, by any age, or the hardest effort by any age should get cheers. Friendship cheers to encourage each other is also acceptable. But cheering to get a piece on the Best Of page when you know it does not deserve it is wrong.
You kids are making your own culture here and it has ruined what FU was intended for. A fun friendly place (no drama no fights) where artists xan draw, doodle and make collab draws and participate in ART themed apps.
So the mods are tired of working to take care of problems ADULTS do not have. The adults and serious artists of all ages want tne real FU back.
We will be posting new rules and also do an explaination about role playing. Until that is ready stop asking.
Maybe there is room on this site for artists and role playing Young kids to co-exist, but as in the real world, the Adults will set the rules and tne kids will follow them. You will hear more details soon. Until then TRY DRAWING A PICTURE!,

Je suis une joueuse de jeux de role sur table, sur ordinateur , en ligne ou non.
Le jeu de role c'est genial.. et j'etais tres etonnée lorsque j'ai lu ici qu'il etait banni..
Mais.. les quelques rapides traits assimilés à du dessin.. ne sont en rien ni du jeu de role.. ni du dessin.. non vraiment pas et décidément sketchfu n'est pas le lieu de telles pratiques... si on peut appeler ça pratiques... Disons plutot passe temps et exutoire d'adolecents en mal de rencontre et de relationnel
Alors.. quelle patience avez vous eu pour endosser le role d'educateur!. et oui, il etait temps d'y mettre un terme.
c'est une excellente chose de faite. Votre temps est précieux et va pouvoir se tourner vers plus de creation. Je m'en rejouis pour vous.

The RPG it's so great! and I was very surprised when I read here that it was banned ..
But .. a few quick lines similar to the drawing .. are by no means nor the RPG .. or the drawing .. not at all, and definitely sketchfu is not the place of such practices ... if you can call it practical ... Say rather hobby and outlet for adolecents in need of meeting and relational
So .. what patience did you have to assume the role of educator!. and yes, it was time to stop it.
it's a great thing done. Your time is valuable and you will be able to turn to more creation. I'm glad for you!

No one is stopping you from RPing.
We are only stopping you from Rping here on a site designed for drawing, not massive amounts of text.
There are links below of other places you can go and RP and be welcome.
You can move all your current text to other RP sites by copying and pasting it.
You can save all of your 745 pages of charrie draws by downloading them to your hard drive.
It is easy to do.
You are losing NOTHING by leaving FU to the artists and taking your friends and your RP to websites set up for that.
So STOP whining and start making plans to move out with your other RP friends.
Copy paste your rp stories and download your drawings and move to one of the sites listed below.
If you know of more good rp sites please post them here.
FU will be a better place if you all quit, not a worse place.
