Just simply outstanding in every sense of the word.. You are are Amazing in the way you capture the life of the images on screen... Impressive to the maximun degree.!!!!
An excellent portrayal and cannot wait for the rest. I have seen that movie like a thousand times, read Wicked and the next book and have read the Oz books too as a kid. So you have done a serious fav of mine true justice!
Very nice. I started drawing on the computer at a different place...called Bebo.com My name there is QTgillie. I drew all of the characters from Wizzard of Oz. But the whiteboard does not have this transparent feature which really helps with the shading. You did a lovely job on the tin man!
You were able to recreate the metallic feel to him so well. I personally can't wait for the lion, but I'm sure all of your drawings will be a lot of fun to watch.
My husband walked into the room as this was playing and said, "Hey, great photograph!" He was stunned to find out it was a painting! You are SO GOOD! Can't wait for the rest of the series!
As usual, you've created something so stunning that I really can't find adequate words to describe it; as such, I leave you with this... THAT'S SO FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! :) hehe, love it! Can't wait to see the Wicked Witch ^_~
Oh...and on a sidenote: I heard once that Snow White and the 7 Dwarves was a reference to Cocaine. Back when Disney created the characters, I understand that Disney and fellow cartoonists were consuming mass quantities of 'Snow' and the 7 Dwarves' names were synonymous with conditions one experienced with prolonged use of cocaine, ie. Dopey, Sleepy, Grumpy, Happy, Sneezy, Bashful and Doc (I guess that's the last one they wanted to see...hehe).
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful...what else can I say??? This is awesome! By the way, did you know that the Wizard of Oz was the film studio's attempt to persuade Americans to remain on the Silver Standard. Hence, the OZ (represents gold, ie. oz=ounce); and when Dorothy clicked her SILVER shoes, everything returned to normal. Eventually in the story when they followed the road paved yellow (gold bars) it led them to the Wizard of Oz who was worth nothing. After you finish the Oz series, could you consider doing Alice in Wonderland?
