I know there is some profound meaning hidden in this piece. You juxtaposed an organic object against an inorganic, geometric background. Let's see...an egg would symbolize the beginning of life...but yet it's shell has been breached, rendering it 'dead'...but it could serve to help sustain life for the person who consumes it; perhaps that person is the artist who drew the background to start with....hmmm...OR...maybe it was just an accidental slip which caused the egg to crack???? OK...nevermind! Whatever the meaning, I think this is a really cool piece. Beautiful colors and great execution!
