Open heart surgery for the do-it-yourselfer...hehe. But seriously a knife in the heart (metaphorically speaking) is a very painful thing. Although physical wounds may heal, emotional scars may remain for eternity. Been there, have had that done to me. So this provocative piece conveys the feeling of pain very well.
