I've got a bit of a strategy for small vertical lines:
scroll as high as you can, click and hold where you want the line, while still holding it, scroll down the page, and a small vertical line will appear! Hope this helps!
To draw straight lines;
Point and left click where you want your line to start. Holding the left click, then right click and a drop-down menu will appear. Let go of mouse and then point and left click to where you want your line to stop. Upon left clicking, a line should appear.
With Mac : You hold the 'control' key near the bottom left. Then you use the mouse to make a dot where you want the line to start. Then you make another dot where you want the line to end but you hold the mouse down. Then release the 'control' key and the mouse at the same time and you should get a straight line.
when i hold the control key, a menu appears but not the good one ^
