i'm a pro bassist been playing since 1992. i've played this song maybe at least 500 times with different bands on different stages. that's always funny to see some young and loving couples ask us to play this tune for them, we do, they dance lookin' eachother in the eye very romantically. the most doesn't understand the lyrics since they can't speak english (cos i'm from turkey). if they knew how dark and maybe chaotic the lyrics are...
In the car I keep this song low until I hear "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave" Then I crank it to 11. Really like the fisheye perspective. I think you have been bending your strings so much that it has effected your art. :)
