You have a wonderful grasp of the human figure and your lettering just blows me away, i cannot do it on here with a mouse and my pen is broken

The opacity, I just keep hitting the < key until I get as transparent as I can, then slowly layer in color a little of the time, so it looks like blending. Another trick is to put in a color,, put in the shade, eye drop the original color, push down the opacity and go over the shaded part with layers of the original color.
