i found her in the woods wen i was playing tag with my bro,sis and 5 other ppl wen i saw her i cryed i picked her up and ran to my house she started grawling and bit my finger, i omost dropped her. i ran to the bathroom and sat her in the sink. i noticed a coller on her neck,i read it carfuly. it had my nabors address on it! i did not care i took the coller off and see gasps for air i ran water in the bath tub for her she jumps out of the sink and trys to hide. i seen flies laid maggots all over her i got water proof bandages and fixed her legs and eye i got dog shampoo(i had some cuz i had a puppie b4 her) and sat her in the warm water i took a sponge and srubed her down.i started scrubing the scars and scratches i looked at the maggots they discussed me,i didnt dare to touch them for it would her her raw tender skin ther i rinsed her off and dried her with a towel i took her to the living room and got a old bowl and twesers i picked out all the maggots i could get. my mom came in and screamed at me GET THT FLEA INFESTED THING OUTA MY HOUSE i sreamed back MOM LOOK AT IT WOULD YOU TELL ME TO GET OUT IF I LOOKED LIKE THT? she came over and sat beside me no i wouldn't. she said get up we goin to the vet..i picked up poppy and went out the door . the nurse was nice the doc too thay took poppy and cleaned her out (flushed) they said feed her this milk replacer for puppies feed her a half a bottle in the morning then the other at night i did as i was told (instead i fed her a bottle in tha morn then a bottle in tha night) we called the police and siad the nabors were abusing her-they got thrown in jail for 4 years-they had 4 dogs 3 cats and all of them were all bone and maggots with some flesh lucky they are stil alive,we adopted them all so we hav 5 doggies & 3 kitties :) we did the same to them as well but poppy was the wone thry hurt the most inside and outside
