yes, don't call your art fails because then it can become a habit. it happened to me and i wasn't pleased when anything i drew but then my friend supported me through it. not only did it hurt me but it hurt her, too. everyone has drawings there not pleased with but keep trying and one day you'll create a masterpiece ^w^
Advice from an Amateur Artist for those who keep asking ....
"How can I draw like that?"
1. Practice every chance you get online and offline on paper.
2. Pick an artist here and watch how they draw. (Try slowing down the replay and watch a drawing step by step.) Don't be afraid to copy a style or idea, nobody can own those, despite what they think.
3. Check out http://sketchfu.com/profile/FUtorials gallery drawings for "how to's".
4. Don't be afraid to experiment and try new styles of drawing.
5. Don't call any of your drawings failures. It's a bad habit of putting yourself and your art down. Just think of it as practice if you don't reach your goal and remember you learned something from it.
6. Don't compare your work to someone else's.
7. Most importantly, be patient with yourself. Developing skills takes time. Just keep at it and enjoy your art journey. It's yours and not anyone else's.
