if i was entering i wouldn't use the straight lines either. not that i don't want to, but last time i tried it took about 23 tries to get One straight line. and it's not really anything wrong with the drawing. it's just that some of the shadows is lighter and in a diffirent color. and since your's is in greyshade so far it probably doesn't seem right. anyways. this is like a very small " problem " in fact not a problem at all.. i hardly notice it.. and the drawing looks very good to me! ^^

Very good job! Maybe you could make the straight part of the key have a bit more shadow, but besides that, very good!

It's not that I can't use it... It's that I'm not very good at it TT.TT And since it toke me 8 tries to get ONE line the way I wanted it... So I decided to go with the traditional way of doing it =( it wasn't a very bright idea thou...
I still didn't work on the shadow because there's something seriously wrong with the key itself >.< but thank you for all your advice ^^
I will try and use the straight lines again when I get home after schools over =) (I'm writing this in multimedia class =.=') obviously trying to do something like a key without the straight lines in Sketchfu will be easier than doing them with a tablet...

you can use straight line with technique lol..just hold left button mouse then right click...then select the point where you want the straight line goes :DD hope this will help XD..also you need to concentrate more on the shadow of the key.

honestly, its much better then what i did,but you should know you are able to use straight line on sketchfu, if you hold the paint brush thing at one point, then right click and move it to where ever you and the line to go to. it doesnt work everytie, but it does on most occasions
