You are so right! I've loved horses forever and I have done a research paper on horse slaughter and it's traumatizing and the horses suffer even more when they reach the slaughter house. Horse slaughter must end now!

IKR!!!!!!!!!! People are such IDIOTS!!!!!!!! I have ridden horses for 4 years and well almost 5 and even if you have a reason.......It's most likely STUPID!!!!!!!!! I hope we can stop this!!!

Horse laughter should eb stopped, Some people kill their race horses if they loose then claim a fake accident then they get to collect the Insurance money!!!!! Grrrrr. Horses are a living thing, like us, and i looove horses, i ride a horse 2-3 times a week and i've jumpeed a metre!!!

horse sluaghter is usually done so ppl can eat them (i will NEVER eat a horse.... I RIDE THEM and LOVE them). also i dont know how many ppl know but when u talk abought race horses.... well u see if a famos race horse has a baby they dont keep the mom off the tract... so that means eventually the baby horses will die. a lot of progams work on this but usually only 2/3 r saved.

i cant belive people could eat horse..... they say it tastes really nice,but what have horses done wrong????? all the ever used to do was help us live with the ploughing amd farming!!! whhhhhhhhhhhhyy????? as you see i a a very big fan of horses and ponys. thank you for tour time... if you have eaten horse before , shame, SHAME!!!!

Yeah, totally. I watched a video on the Animal Aid website that was filmed secretly in an English Abattoir- they shoot them in the brain with a rifle then use a hook to lift them up. Once they are in this upside-down position, they bleed out then get slaughtered. I am not against eating them (eww) or slaughtering them (poor things) but it's WHY and HOW they slaughter them that gets me so aggravated and upset. Some that get slaughtered are perfectly fine, it's just that they aren't needed any more. The same for racehorses- once they are injured or can't be ridden any more the same thing happens. 30 race horses were killed over a period of 2 days during a derby that occurred in the UK some time ago. It's really not nice!
