Like Sunny sez, the opacity feature makes a big difference; also, use the "e" key as a color picker, handy if you've made a custom shade :)

You will have fun with < and > keys. I didn't know we had a tutorial? lol..anyhow those keys gets you opacity. Pick a color and press the key..Like ur buddies ;P

Hehe. Have you read a tutorial yet? You can achieve some impressive effects. I know it's not as sophisticated as the applets at FG but there is some amazing art to be found here. You will do fine cos youhave the skill to start with. Keep 'em coming buddy.
