Fantastic job, and I must agree, it does look like the work of pastels! I picked them up myself recently, and they are very hard to learn, but once you get the hang of them, they are very fun. Just remember that you have to keep the highlights and shadows fairly sharp or they won't show up, and keep the pieces that break off, because those can be good for the more detailed drawings.

I'm too tired to give any more advice, and I feel like a jerk giving advice to someone already so much better than I at art. *sheepish grin*

Thanks to the new comments on this, Pastels? I always wanted to learn to use them. I even bought some and my pictures look so terrible. I have read tutorials and books on them but still bad. I have been working with Prisma markers, I started three pictures within the last week and I do like the effects I am getting with those. Might scan and post them when I am done. I have one more to start then I wanna finish them all and put them in the same large frame.
